ang hindi ako kuntento is yun ampli nya, i think may ibubuga pa yun speakers kung mas maganda yun driver nya. mga sir mayroon po kayo marerecommend na driver para dito. many thanks
You mean amp?
First you have to figure out if your system is totally 'integrated', or if it's like separates where you can really use a different amp to drive your speakers.
What
connection do your speakers support? If it's like most high-quality speakers nowadays it should come with 5-way binding posts that'll let you connect it and your speaker wires using a variety of connections (bare wire, banana plugs, spades, etc). If it's the so-called 'cheap' spring-clip or guillotine connector, well at least you can use bare wire. Yung ibang HTIB's kasi minsan the speakers and the speaker wires are inseparable, and will only connect to their own amp.
Next, what's the
nominal impedance of your speakers? They should have an indicator near the connections, or it could be in the product manual. I think a general 'standard' among home theatre speakers are 8 ohms. Some are 4 or 6 ohms. It's important to match the target impedance of your amplifier to the rated impedance of your speakers.
I noticed medyo mahina lang rated power output nung amp mo - 35W to the fronts and 10W to the center & surrounds. I guess RMS yan. Ang tanung ko lang is if you use, say, an amp capable of delivering better power - baka naman ma-over power speakers mo lalong masira!
If your speakers are 8 ohm impedance, and can accept higher wattage then you should be able to get an amp na mga 40W x 5. Thing is - pansin ko din mas mababa power to the center/surrounds - baka naman yung fronts kayanin yung 40W pero yung center/surrounds sumabog!
On the other hand, ako nga 40W x 5 lang din amp ko, and then I seldom go above -15 dB or 10 o'clock, and only when the source material is very soft. With average to loud material -10 dB feeling ko sumasabog na yung sound sa kuwarto ko! What I'm saying is that more power isn't always better, nor called for.
Baka naman medyo nakukulangan ka lang ng 'bayo' - meaning, you're a
bassfreak or someone who really likes booming bass. Heheh... I guess the best thing you can do is get a dedicated subwoofer that can be connected to your amp's speaker-level outputs. The cheapest subs aren't at all expensive - around 5k or even less if you can get them 2nd hand.
I can't find their Web site for whatever reason. Maybe you can post the URL here, and hopefully they'll have more specs there so we can better help you out in 'upgrading'.
