sinira ang Velo mo???   wow.

Yup. 1250 watts amp. 15" driver. Paayos ko sa friend ni Alvin. Meanwhile ...

Matagal nang tingin ko may defect but lumalabas lang with very deep bass. Ngayon, alam kong sira na talaga cuz when I do an Audyssey calibration, the distance to the sub is set at 4 feet, when it is actually more than 18 feet. I did the test 4 times before I realized that it was the Velo that caused the errors. When I removed the Velo and just used the Paradigm sub, ok na distance. The general rule is that if there is a big error in the distances that Audyssey detects, the problem is either ambient noise during the calibration or a blown speaker.

Ergo, watch "Flight of the Phoenix" at your own risk.  ;D

Cloverfield

This is the deepest bass I have ever heard. I have 2 big subs that can go subsonic and there was very little audible bass you could hear and yet, my whole room was shaking like crazy. Kasi you can't hear subsonic bass (by its very definition).

It's actually kinda scary to play this movie at reference level cuz you could easily destroy your subs.

Watched lately Shooter and man this movie has lots of LFEs.  The rifle shot was heavenly.  Also the part where Wahlberg goes Rambo chased by a chopper when all of the bombs were activated.  Shook my room considering that it's only DD!  ;D

I just watched:

1. Finding Nemo (Chapter 25, the Darla scene); and
2. War of the Worlds (from the beginning until the lightning strikes 26 times scene)

Wow! What a difference a sub makes!

I was actually regretting buying War of the Worlds (I was thinking of Minority Report when I picked it up at one Astro sale) but if only for the lightning scenes, I'm keeping it!
