Just a minor update. Replaced my trusty old Yamaha RXV450 with the Denon 1909.

My current set-up

Samsung LA32S71B 32" LCD TV
Samsung DVD-HD860 DVD Player
Denon AVR-1909 Receiver
Velodyne CHT-10R Subwoofer
Wharfedale Diamond 8.3 Front Speakers
Wharfedale Diamond Center Speaker
Wharfedale WH-2 Surrounds Speakers
Sabre PM365 Centauri w/ Tiltable Mount

Unfortunately there are no pre-outs for the 1909. You will have to go to a higher model to have those.

Halos pareho tayo ng set-up. I too have the same wharfe speakers that you have...black nga lang.

Lamang ka lang sa amp. My amp is just an old Yamaha.

I recommend you get a Bada LC. Very good unit to have...it really makes adifference in the overall quality in picture and sound!

The Wharfe 8.3's are really a good value speakers. I noticed that it sounded better when paired with the Denon. Now I'm thinking of holding on to them a little longer.

Yup, a line conditioner is on my "wishlist"

. I'm thinking of getting the Bada LB5500. I like the 2-switch configuration.
