At 900, I'm undecided about this one. Like many, ito na lang ang kulang ko.

Kaso has anyone been able to buy Ep II at 299? Parang wala yata. So in the end I might buy it na rin and not wait for the sale.

Konting dagdag na lang for the price of EpIII, makakabili na ko ng Polar Express & Charlie & the Chocolate Factory.

knowing george lucas, a boxed set of the complete prequel trilogy will come sometime in the near
future. maybe even a boxed set of all six episodes for the blue ray/hd crowd. you can bet that an r3
version will be available. it's just a question of when. safest bet is in 2007 when the original
star wars turns 30...

Saw a DVD copy of Episode 3 at the Megamall Department store. Didn't see any copies at astro nor tower records, just the department store.

Yup, P900. I don't have the R1 but except for the language options, I think the special features are intact - even the Easter Egg on Disc 1. Just like the Episode I and II R3 DVD's, it's in a clear amaray case, and has your basic insert which describes the special features in the main spread and has a chapter list on the last page. Printing quality is ok. There are also two Smart Buddy character cards included in the DVD. Pwedeng gamitin na bookmark.

meron na nga sa Astro Festival kaso parang walang kahit anong ad or promotion to announce it..tahimik lang..mas masaya pa yung batman begins.. walang budget ang viva to promote kaya siguro mahal din.. didnt get it also.. sana by Jan 2006 bagsak presyo ito due to slow sales ehehehe..kasi pati dito sa pinoydvd parang lukewarm ang pagtanggap

Video game trailers for Empire at War and SW Battlefront 2 (including the Xbox playable demo) are intact. The three menu themes (Coruscant, Utapau and Mustafar) on Disc 1 are all accessible in the same manner as in the previous DVD's. IMO, the quality of the special features on Disc 2 (in terms of video and audio) is excellent. But again, I haven't seen the R1 so there's really no basis to make a fair comparison. I bought the R3 version of Episode III since my other prequel trilogy DVD's are R3 as well.

For P900, still a good buy nonetheless.

I have an R3 episode 2 but R1 episode1. Rambol na sila.

According to The Digital Bits, EpIII, like the preceding Clones, was shot entirely in HD and the DVD is a direct digital transfer, no film-to-digital transcription. And because of its over-the-top CG effects, is a definite showcase DVD, short of true HD presentation. And with its DD EX audo mix getting deep soundstaging and busy surrounds, the title is said to be the "new reference DVD by a wide margin"

For this alone, I'm having second thoughts of waiting for this to go on sale before I buy.
