I would rather get the R1 than spend 900 on an R3 with the knowledge that they might be on sale for 299 (nakita nyo ba nagkalat ang episode I for 299,walang pumapansin not even I bought this for that low a price!)

If they don't cut the prices down for Episode III, I will get the R1!

just got mine from my suking tindera hehe. P900 is a lot of money but the DD-EX digital mastering made it easier to swallow. out of stock na daw sa astro mega.

I was looking at it face to face last night at Astro Sm Sucat, together with War of The Worlds.

And a miraculous thing happened......I walked out of Astro not getting either. What a relief.

I think I've learned to control my DVD addiction. I'll see if that happens again next time I'm at astro.

eto mas powerful.. i was at video city yesterday tapos they had it for rent na pala, so sabi ko rent ko na lang muna tapos sa sale na lang ako bibili.. so andun na ako sa checkout counter.. ang tagal i-process yun pala ayaw daw mag-clear sa computer..kailangan yung date was today.. so di raw pwede ilabas yung disc yesterday... nasa plastic na at iuuwi ko na lang di pa nagawa! ahahaaha mukhang may force na mapapabili ako nito eh..

As for me I don't go near the shelf kung saan naka display yung Episode III. I don't know kung may boxset na ng Episode I - III kung mapigilan ko pa sarili ko

Sa Gateway, Oddysey Xl maybe 5 copies more.

Astro Podium, 3 or more.

...and a lot of other places I can no longer recall, sa Mega yata marami pa rin.

i got the Star Wars 1 & 2 at a regular price before. my driver for purchase is the booklet/insert included in the R3 release. would this release include an insert?

the local studios have wisen up. low number of dvds for sale to maximize profit---low chance of titles ending up in occasional sale events.

I think meron nang thread na ganyan.

I read on some net reviews on the title that there's a plan about retouching the puppet Yoda in Episode 1 with a better CGI character to be consistent with Episodes 2 and 3. And this will be made available with the BOX set. Like the retouches Lucas did for the box set of the earlier films. So that's another incentive to get the box set.

Just got a copy at Astro Glorietta tonight. I thought there were only two sets available displayed on the rack.
After I got to the counter the sales person had the set I got returned to the rack and took one from the "heap"
at the counter. I think they have more than 10 there.

I was tempted to get War of the Worlds too but I'll save that for another time.

Just an insert describing the contents of the Special Features disc.
Haven't watched it yet though, can't comment on the audio/video quality

finally i rented a copy.. pq and sq is great.. yung features disc parang mas ok yung previous episodes lalo na yung sa trilogy.. this one dwells more on the final duel.. this tops my to-buy list..kapag nag SALE ahahaha!

just cant wait any longer.. bought the R3 with 10% less during the glorieta sale. stocks are low that's why i was tempted to buy now... and choose r3 to be consistent with my EI and EII... and i love the idea of the visible artwork on a semi-see-through case.

Oh! What store offered the less 10%? I dropped by both astro in Glorietta & SM makati. But both said no discount price for EpIII because it was just released. Does it also apply to War of the Worlds?
