Check out my new favorite show:


My Name Is Earl

This show features two of my favorite actors people on the face of the planet: Jason Lee & Ethan Suplee. It's only been showing on NBC for a little over a month, but each and every episode was awesome.

Jason Lee & Ethan Suplee. Joined by Jaime Pressley and Nadine Velazquez.

How can you dismiss a show like this?

You don't. That's how.

One of the funny ideas setup by the show was that Earl found Carson Daly inspirational. Does that mean Mr. Daly's a role model among the trailer trash population? Hehe...  :)

jamie pressley is like an artistic savant when playing "trailer trash"...  she's the "prettiest pretty" as well. LOL.

nadine velasquez... while uber-hot, just seems "bland" here.

NBC has moved this to their prime Thursday 9 PM slot. Will and Grace is now Thursday 8 PM.

I don't know if it's coincidence or not, but right about the time it changed time slots, every bit of charm that this show had was lost. After watching some of the latest episodes, I've decided not to watch anymore. Every episode just keeps getting worse and worse, recycling the same old storylines, and never letting the characters develop.

It's like the writers are writing by the numbers.

I'm downloading this through torrent (up to episode 17 pa lang) and I must say this series is really funny! It is Malcolm in the Middle-kind-of funny and the 80's Parker Lewis Can't Lose!

I stand corrected, there are 24 episodes of My Name is Earl.


And the last episode of the season is now up for downloading via torrent at 234MB (it's an extended episode for the season ender)! ;D

nice season finalé.  ;D

it's not that much longer ... just about 7 mins more than the usual 20 minute episode. (actual airtime was 40 mins).  ;D

The worst episode in the season was when they all got a job in an office and something totally uninteresting happened. I actually lost faith in the show after that episode (See my previous post in the thread).

Fortunately the episode after that totally made up for it. I just finished watching the first season and I found it was totally worth my time.

It looks like departing from the formula is for the better. Based on the first two episodes of the new season, it's even more hilarious since the rest of the characters (especially Joy and Catalina) get to do so much more.
