Hopefully there won't be a shortage. Warner adjusted their projections after what happened to Constantine DE. Their new price points have apparently attracted a lot of new R3 buyers.

Talked to Warner and they said the gift set should be available by now. There were some delays over the weekend in terms of delivery but those issue have been resolved.

saw two boxes in astro southmall..held one in my hand but had to return it due to holiday economics..P750 pala ito kala ko 600 parang di worth yun globe for the extra P251..ewan ko lang sa inyo kung ok yung itsura ng globe..

seen the set and actually bought my copy. sales attendant in Astro Glorieta told me that majority of the 30 units delivered were reserved already.

package box is similar (but not entirely the same) to Region 1 Finding Nemo foil-type carton paper. for the extra bucks, good buy na ang collector's item na globe. im not ready to shell out $100.00 (w/o shipping cost) for a good-enough resin type film snowglobe at ebay... so this one would suffice.. at least for the moment.

Easter Eggs on POlar Express as per DVDREview

On Warner Home Video’s release of 'The Polar Express' the studio has also hidden some additional features.

Insert the second disc of the DVD set in your player and highlight the 'More' menu entry. Then press the 'Left' arrow key on your remote control and you will notice a golden bell appear. Press the 'Enter' key and you will see a split screen version of the live actors doing the motion capture and the final animated scene of the Refreshment song and dance number from the movie.

Now, highlight 'You Look Familiar' and press the 'Up' arrow key of your remote control and you will see the ticket at the top of the screen get highlighted. Now press 'Enter' and see another split screen version of Tom Hanks recording the motion of the hero boy and Conductor while below seeing the finished scene from the movie.

Now go to the second page of the menu and highlight the 'True Inspirations An Authors Adventure' menu entry. Press the 'Left' arrow key now and another golden bell will appear. Press 'Enter' to see Tom Hanks play both the train hobo and the young boy on top the train, and watch the split screen version with the finished scene from the movie play out at the same time.

Next, go to 'Languages,' and there highlight 'Francais.' Now press the 'Right' arrow key on your remote control and you will notice another golden bell appear in the right top corner of the screen. Press the 'Enter' key for another split screen version of a scene taken from the movie.
