godzilla [1998].. it has been badmouthed a lot of times in the www.imdb.com, and still considered by many to be a box office failure , aside from the fact that this dvd was my very first one

i remember this film to be one of the biggest hits of 2005...

Sir nirvblakr and diegong_bagsik, please give us your reason why this title can be included here.

And Remember that this topic is for Box office disaster in your DVD Collection

For me, War of the Worlds is NOT INCLUDED because it grosses more than half a billion dollar worldwide according to http://www.boxofficemojo.com and http://www.the-movie-times.com

Bigger than Matrix, Shrek and Gladiator!

another box office disaster in my collection is ----a bridge too  far{1977} but it has become a classic and it only flopped at the box office because it went head to head with a little known and obscure movie called star wars. although it has not been critically acclaimed, it's still a great war movie

Final Fantasy :The Spirit Within: Should have stuck with the essence and story of the FF games
The Big Hit : This is considered by Leonard Maltin as a must see. Astig tong movie!
Mallrats : Flopped on the big screen but made so much of a cult classic on home video
Showgirls : First time this actress showed her tits off on screen and known to have been a really goody two shoes, regardless, the fil flopped.
Rent The Movie: Good play, good premiere, but after that is a different story. I still love the film, the music is actually better.

Yeah the Final Fantasy: The Spirit Within is a big flop. Nevertheless, I find the movie very enjoyable esp with its age-cutting great graphic details. :D

Heck, I think more than half the DVDs in my collection could qualify as box office disasters. They're also almost all great movies. Box office disaster only equals bad filmmaking in a unvierse with the IQ of a pea.  ;D
