Stanley Kubrick's SPARTACUS or even Ridley Scott's GLADIATOR is fine for the Holy Week, just adjust the volume of your receiver for GLADIATOR.

My Holy Week line-up for 2006:

Passion of the Christ
Titanic
Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events
King Kong 2005

Passion is an obvious choice. For the other 3, I just felt that something in those movies make them worth a Holy Week watch. I can't just seem to place it.

Jesus of Nazareth (Watched it on VCD last year), rewatching it on DVD this year.

I was hoping to watch the 6-hour British Moses: The Lawgiver mini-series, unfortunately my DVD didn't arrive (lost na yata - estimate ship date March 29, filing lost report tomorrow).

Taking a breather from Passion of the Christ this Lent after 2 Good Fridays (2005 & 2006). This year I'll punish myself by watching Fellowship of the Ring for the nth time this Good Friday. Actually, only my 3rd on DVD but I've watched it in VHS and HBO for so many times already. I can even imagine each character's facial expression for every line they deliver. Still contemplating if I'll complete the trilogy this Holy Weekend.
