well after viewing Veggie Tales the Movie

the movie was able to reach and teach my 4 yr. old daughter great values, like mercy and compassion.
heck i almost fell of my chair when i heard my daughter sing " let's praise the lord"... over and over again!

so this got me interested in the series.
and after reading all the positive reviews in amazon's customers review section on the veggie tales dvd series.

i went ahead and bought some more veggie tales dvd's.

heres some of them:

these dvd's would be appropriate for the holy week, but i'm sure my daughter will be veiwing them again and again throughout the year

i highly recommend seeing this dvd

Lauryn Hill - MTV Unplugged No. 2.0 (2002)

this is not your average concert dvd, laura hill really connects with her heart felt songs, it had me teary eyed as she wept through her songs. her music and poetry was truly self reflecting.

Lauryn Hill bleeds her heart out to everyone through this DVD. She inspires, motivates, and perpetuates inner thought. When watching this performance, one walks out feeling rejuvinated and re-evaluates society and your place in it. Inner demons seemed to haunt Lauryn Hill but obviously overcomes the tragedy of love, life, and forgiveness with oneself. She emates from what is raw and pure emotion which she uses her amazingly- beautiful rapsy voice and her acustic guitar. The music is only secondary as the message is the most thought- provoking passages I have encountered. Her performance of "I Gotta Find A Peace of Mind" is mind- altering, heart- dropping poetry of issues that we all deal with. Towards the end of the song, she cries and pours all her energy so she can get her point accross. The audience is left in tears as well as it is the most incredible sight one can be part of. Please, whether on MTV or through this DVD, just watch it and you will see a strong woman who overcomes everything and still can stand strong in the light of day.

heck, you don't even have to see this on dvd, if you can get a hold of a tape or cd...listen to it, it's well worth your time.

me??? have had ALIAS 1 and 2 boxsets for the longest time and never viewed it. am also doing a Godfather saga marathon with friends on Good Friday
