I use DVD Profiler. Instead of having to type in the 80+ titles I have so far, I am lucky enough to own a CueCat (a bardcode scanner that RadioShack (US) used to give away) so I just scan the barcodes  :)

I believe I uploaded the Dekada '70 profile. Di pa nga complete ang information kasi nag-e-error nung inuupload na but defnitely yung image ng cover ako yun  :)

Those using DVD Profiler, can you guys access the site to update/upload your collection?

I haven't been able to since Friday.

i hope not din... but i have been using DVD profiler for 2 years and mukhang kaunti lang ang nag-a-advertise sa kanila. so i'm guessing the ads aren't a big revenue for them.

BTW, do you guys contribute? i noticed kasi i have to "invent" UPC codes for R3 editions and scan the covers myself... sometimes they accept... minsan they don't.

it might be a BIG help if you guys can post the UPC codes you use for the approved contributions. it'd save all of us a lot of time and effort.  ;D

All the time. I've never invented a UPC code, though. Among all the local Tagalog titles I've contributed, only TANGING YAMAN was accepted, and I still don't know why - I didn't do anything differently.

Not a big surprise, you'll find a HUGE number of "TV Series on DVD" titles were submitted by me.  ;D

but isn't UPC code required? only way you get away without a UPC code is the DiscID... and you need a DVD-ROM for that.  ;)

The Star Cinema titles have UPC codes. I've submitted several, but only TANGING YAMAN got accepted.

as of this post... mukhang 100% na!  ;D

i tried contributing 3 dvd titles (with scans) and i didn't get that error message anymore.

also... mukhang may bandwidth limit na sila for viewing the collection of "free registation" members. so if your a free registrant you get an "unavailable" message while accessing your collection online... just wait a few seconds and try again.  ;D

p.s. is anyone here a "paid user"? kamusta yung benefits? is it worth it?  ;)

Haven't updated my DVDProfiler page for the longest time (since I refused to enter Astrovision stores on a whim except when there is a specific title that I need to buy)

DVDProfiler. I particularly like the "wish list" feature that sort of lets me "organize" my future acquisitions, hehe.. I'm particularly excited about the newer version that's due to come out soon, though intervocative hasn't given any release date yet and it will initially be available to premium registrants only.. I hope the freebie won't take to long to follow though  ;D
