Forrest Gump - I hate the movie, but I still got it on DVD. I think this is one of the best soundtracks ever, though.
Pretty Woman - Come on, this is one of the quintessential early 90s soundtracks. It's a must have, and the film is a feel-good guilty pleasure.
F*R*I*E*N*D*S - The CD was an impulse buy from a TV show fanatic, and I regretted the purchase. I maybe liked 3 songs in the entire CD.
Sex and the City - Surprisingly, the CD does not contain the version of the soundtrack we actually hear during the opening of the show; also, its first song is "Sex Bomb", which is actually the theme from Darren Starr's other show,
Grosse Pointe.
And cheesy as they may be, when
Flashdance and
Footloose come out on DVD, I'm definitely getting them, and I already own the soundtracks of these films. You can take the guy out of the '80s, but you can't take the '80s out of the guy.
