Is that 190k SRP or Cash... Last week the sales guy for hitachi was quoting 200K cash already versus 275k 0% interest... Kung 190K SRP... malaking discount siguro pag cash....

The newer 42PD8800TA will be released soon, so the importer had to really drop their prices ::) ::)... But the 8800TA will have 2 HDMI input instead of the 1 DVI-D and 1 HDMI inputs found on the 42PD7800TA :-[. And to think a Philips EDTV Plasma sells at 199K, against a true HDTV Plasma.  ;D Also the price ot the 55" Hitachi Plasma Monitor (No TUNER) is below 350K, it used to sell 460K.

The new model 42PD8800 is already released , I saw one earlier ... And if you are paying cash the price is very near the older model 7800. Makes no sense to buy the older one really ... So pricing has really improved..

Go for it. I have had a Hitachi 42" plasma for a year and it's perfect for my taste. Not often reviewed and advertised, but one of the best around.
