NO INSERT, it looks like

from DVDTown:
The two discs come housed in a double, slim-line keep case, further packaged in a handsome, silver-foil slipcover. Although Warners do not include an insert for chapter selections, they do provide a foldout of "Potter" merchandise for sale, including a $295 sculpture of Hogwarts castle, which dearly cries out to the kid in me. However, you'd think they might have made a little room in the foldout for some scene selections, too. Oh, well....

What do you mean by early bookers?  May reservations na ba?

Or yung mga mauunang bibili on the release date?

Passed by Astro Glorietta this afternoon and there's indeed a reservation. I filled up a coupon or stub that will be presented when I pick up the DVD starting March 14th. May bayad na P100 pero ibabawas din sa actual price pagpick-up just like what they did with Spider-man 2 and Troy before.

The early reservation comes with a free limited edition poster when the DVD's picked up. The problem is baka si Daniel Radcliffe lang, hehe. Anyway, I agree. Looks like Warner just wants to be sure that many would buy when it's release. I hope the poster looks as good as the ones Magna gave away with the Spider-man 2 reservation.

Sana nga may poster... Though nung nabili ko uyng Spider-Man 2 giftset before yung bean bag lang ang nakuha ko... Well, can't wait, intriguing yung feature nila kay Ralph Fiennes as Voldemort - He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named...

I think that the poster will be an ordinary type that looks like the front cover art of the dvd.  I just wish that Warner will give out the original 27 X 40 double sided poster to us.  I mean they just trash them out diba.  It's really hard to get those posters.  Whenever I'm in a movie house like robinsons, glorietta, etc.  I always ask If I can have the poster.  They say that they can't give the posters out and that thaye return it to the distributor.  What a bummer. :(

I remember the other giveaways from warner.  And it's always locally made and cheap.  (like the mouse pad and wallet of matrix).  Yung maganda may raffle pa like the dobie figure. :)

I sure hope that the poster they'll give away will involve at least 3 of the main characters. Walang gana kung si Harry Potter lang. He's not exactly Spider-man. I would rather have a Maria Sharapova poster. :)

Also saw the poster displayed at Astro Podium. If I remember correctly, it is Harry Potter with Mad Eye Moody at the background.

For those who are waiting for the HP 1-3 bundle/box set to be released with the possibility of HP 1 being in widescreen, you might be disappointed.  I was told yesterday afternoon by Astroplus Podium reps that Warner has pulled out old HP DVD stocks in the last couple of days.  The said DVD's will be bundled and will be sold at a lower price.  I was also able to talk to a Warner rep during the Podium sale last Friday and he also told me about this.  Bummer.   :(

I just picked up my copy at Astro V-Mall for Php 485.

Very nice! High-quality slipcase, good printing on the inside label.

It also has a little flyer-insert. For those who haven't purchased HP 1-3, they have a special promo: All three titles on DVD for only Php 1395, with free note pad!

Sure, why not?

You're lucky my digital camera was in my pocket just now.  ;D

The picture is deceiving, so I'll already clarify: The lettering of "Harry Potter" is not embossed on the slipcase. It's just a metallic finish that makes it look embossed.

how about the poster? any pic?

Sorry, hemi. Didn't ask for the poster since I didn't want it, anyway. I also gave away the Spider-Man 2 embossed poster with the old promo for that set.  ;D

If I remember right, though, this is the sample poster I saw on display at Astro:

Mr. Hankey the Christmas Poo... He loves me, I love you...
