ampli repair shop
« on: Jun 07, 2004 at 11:08 AM »
mga guru's can u recommend a good repair shop for amplifiers.  I have a marantz pm420 amplifier that's been collecting dust. Until recently when I decided to clean it up and put it into good use.  Unfortunately 2 of its 4 channels are not working properly, the 2 channels have static and low volume when connected as compared to the other 2 working channels.

Thanks in advance :)

hi,

i have this problem regarding my JVC A-GX5B ampli.  Brought it to JVC for repair but they said that it can't be repaired because old model na daw ito (1985) and tampered na (meaning some of the original parts were replaced) Sino kakilala niyo na pwede pang gawin ito or kung saan makakakuhang schematic diagram nito. I tried at Raon pero walang ganong diagram.  Hope someone can help.

Thanks a lot.

hello mga audio gurus,

regarding sa repair ng subwoofer amp, meron ba kayong recommended repair shop, my suby is a Studio Acoustics model SA 612. Or is there a module to replace the whole amp section? one day kasi my suby just decided to stop working, so what i did was to open the whole panel and found out that the power supply is all fried up (parang nasunog yung mga diodes). The driver is still ok. nakikisuyo lang.

any repair shops in QC for NAD amplifiers? my 304 just won't produce any sound, I get the red light power indicator but it doesn't turn green to indicate an input signal. both power amp and preamp sections do not produce any sound (hooked it up to another 304, pre to amp and vice versa, either way the problem amp has no sound).

oh, and since the amp's gonna be opened up anyway, it would definitely be a huge plus if anyone can recommend a good/reliable shop that can also do minor mods on the amp, like change the opamps.
