A few days after discovering this forum, I bought Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs even if I didn't have a dvd player back then yet. I just got so convinced by all the positive feedbacks I read and I was afraid I might not get a copy anymore since I read that it was supposed to be available only for a limited time. Yun pala, there was no reason for me to worry since until now, a lot of copies are still sold at stores.

The first R1 dvd I bought is Chasing Amy - CC which I bought from benny.

Nicve to hear , Actually that was my second purchase first was Matrix.

However to my dismay, Gladiator R3 missed an easter egg of Chicken RUn compare to it R1 counterpart.

My first post!

My first DVDs were ordered from amazon.com, like many of you here, ordered it even before i bought the player - Matrix and Devil's Advocate (ca 1999).

But the first DVD i got (physically, prior to arrival of matrix orders) was Stuart Little!

The Last of the Mohicans (R3, P 700 from AstroVision)

We bought this last year when we (wife and I) noticed that we didn't have a DVD yet since all we had were VCDs (more affordable, of course lower AV quality than DVDs). Up to now it's the only one that we've bought although we received this next one as a pasalubong from an aunt (thanks Tita Gil!):

Pearl Harbor (R1, 2 disc set)

I noticed that a lot of people chose The Matrix as their first DVD, may I know where I can get the R1 of this and if there is any difference from the R3 version? Thanks, and excuse me if this is slightly off-topic.

Pearl Harbor 60th Anniversary Commemorative Edition was the first DVD I purchased (2nd hand, in excellent condition).

My first brand new and sealed DVD was Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone (Widescreen).

After that, tuloy-tuloy na ang pagbili ng mga DVDs.
