Cinema Luneta
A project of the NCCA National Committee on Cinema in cooperation with the Film Academy of the Philippines. Five Modules to be presented at Rizal Park:
CINEMAGITING - the national hero Dr. Rizal will come down from his monument to convey a message to the Filipinos today, CINEMANINGNING - a laser animation show projected around the park featuring a dozen independent artists in film, visual arts and cartooning, CINEMALAMIG - a new experience in watching moving images melt as they are projected on a crystal screen, CINEMADADA - an interactive experiment wherein people's faces will transform into an 8-feet high talking head, CINEMADALI - a competition for films shot in and around Luneta in any format lasting between one to five minutes. Instant cinema, CINEMAKULIT - A three-headed installation by Peque Gallaga and Manny Montelibano featuring three inebriated souls pouring out their woes on various topics, CINEMATUNOG - An interplay between film and live music.
