Sony Pictures Home Entertainment has announced a two-disc special edition of Memoirs of a Geisha which stars Zhang Ziyi, Ken Wantanabe, Michelle Yeoh and Gong Li. The romantic epic and six-time Academy Award® nominated film, will be available to own from the 28th March. Retail will be around $28.96. The film will be presented in 2.40:1 anamorphic widescreen, along with an English Dolby Digital 5.1 track. Extras will include an audio commentary with director Rob Marshall and choreographer John DeLuca, production audio commentaries (featuring Colleen Atwood - Costume Design, John Myhre - Production Design, Pietro Scalia - Editor), and eleven featurettes (Sayuri’s Other Journey: From the Novel to the Screen, The Road to Japan, Geisha Bootcamp, Building the Hanamachi, The Look of a Geisha, The Music of Memoirs, A Geisha Dance, The World of Geisha, The Way of the Sumo, A Day with Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, and another featurette on director Rob Marshall).
