6. Magnavision reserves the right to substitute titles if the selected DVD/VCD is out of stock
Quote

Exactomundo.   ;)  If this would help, per my discussion with a sales rep from astro sm manila, Magna Vision representatives will be visiting Astrovision branches today (March 22)  to clarify issues and gray areas regarding the promo especially on the replacement of non-available titles.  ;)

I'm not getting this.  It's a universal release.  Not a single relese magna/universal-dreamworks release that have good packaging.  Not if it's an import like schindler's list.  But still schindler's list local release sucks.  If it's from columbia tri-star.  I'll get it.  But not the crappy budget release.

Big difference bro.  You can see naman from dreamworks/universal release like gladiator ee, jurassic park trilogy, twister, fast and the furious, 2 fast 2 furious.  All are in crappy cases.  I'm not saying that this is a bad movie to buy.  It's just me lang.  I'm also eying for the packaging also.  But the disc are fine.  Meron lang minor differences sa mga features.

OT: Billy Elliot is a good release. Just like the R1.  :) Add to that The Boxer and In the Name of the Father

Other releases, especially the later ones, i'd rather save up.

Pre-ordered last Tuesday (March 21), after claiming my reserved Harry Potter DVD.  Reserved Shark Tale w/c was still on sale for PhP 475 at that time.  ;)

Good for you bro.  They must have recently included this title in their 475 catalogue.  i might get it na rin if it's indeed down to 475.

very tempting offer but im sure there'll be director's cut / extended / unrated na naman  :(

Yeah, pati yung nangyari sa Kingdom of Heaven.  Sayang lang kung bibili ka ng 2-disc ngayon.  Just wait for the 3 disc.

not exactly sayang.. if you're buying the local release, i would say sayang. but if you own the steelbook or the r1 release, you'll notice a big big difference.

the emergence of a director's cut/ee was revealed to the public months before this release. my suggestion is you buy one now cause no true DVD collector can wait that long.. at Q4 this year.

From what's listed at the back of the slip case, the Philippine R3 has a Volkswagen Touareg Commercial shoot (looks like a segment of the Production Diaries) that wasn't mentioned on the R1's back cover/slip case. It can be accessed on Disc One of the two-disc set.

Is this also present on the R1 version, or is this an R3 exclusive?

hope someone will post the bitrate of the movie disc.  three hours of movie with a marketing trailer on VW compressed in one dvd9, video quality would definitely suffer.  sayang!  would rather wait for the superbit na may dts and 2-disc dvd9 or none at all! ;D
