Good news! I've been to abenson and less 10,000 from tag price yung Samsung LCD 26 inch nila. Hmmm nice bargain.

nice bargain indeed together with the HT (which costs 30k if bought separately). my wife and i just bought this unit together with the HT for only 95k payable in 18months zero interest! sulit and perfect for our room!!! together with the HT, it's like buying the LCD for only 65k which i think made us decide to buy it right away. we were supposed to get a slimfit but the promo for this 26 inch is too good to resist plus it's an LCD with DVI and HDMI already.

yep saw that too...pretty good deal.  P89,000 na lang ba 26R51 nila?  saw their demos but all cartoons so far...no real life pq demo.

Just came from Glorietta yesterday. Merong BPI installment madness 0% interest.  They have the same deal with the Samsung LCDs as with Abenson since they will also get the stocks there.  I just bought the Samsung 32" LCD (LN-R328W) for 114K (18-months 0% interest) with free home theater system worth almost 30K.  The sign says that you have to add 5K to get the home theater but I think they are in dire need for sales that's why they are throwing it in for free.  The installment madness is until April 2.  Free home theater offer is good until supply lasts.

    I also got the 32" of this model from the recent BPI madness, just want to ask if this model (or LCDs in general) also suffer the discoloration effect when placed near a strong magnet (i.e speakers)?  I plan to place my center speaker just in front of the LCD.

alam ko LCDs and plasmas in general aren't affected by magnetic fields.  your center speaker is probably shielded though.
