This packaging LOOKED really cool. But the sleeves are cardboard and tight, and they scratch up the discs when you pull them out.

Still, I enjoyed the look of the package, and the content of the discs, so this is still my favorite.

ooooh, lots of temptation in this thread. i , too make it a point to wait for the boxed set instead of purchasing dvds one by one. a good example is the jurassic park series. i didnt get the 1 and 2 set since i found out JP3 was coming. now i was able to get the JP trilogy. through the years i was able to collect a lot of boxed sets. these include: all R1

1)Nightmare Series
2)Tom Clancy
3)Schwarzenegger collection
4)Superman Collection
5)Blair Witch Experience
6)Jurassic Park Trilogy

can't believe i missed out on the james bond series though  :'( anyone willing to sell theirs?

Hey Bravoexo,

 welcome to PinoyDVD

Seems like you're into Anime. I'm starting to like them too. But, do you know any Full Lenght Anime movie besides Princess Mononoke and Blood?

 Thanks!

the Godfather boxed set!!!! the definitive mob film. Francis Ford Coppola's Masterpiece. Contains two of the best films ever made. Seeing the screen tests of Al Pacino, James Caan, Diane Keaton, Robert Duvall and Marlon Brando is a gem. Plus you get to see Robert De Niro audition for the role of Sonny Corleone.

joey, from dvdfile:

January 24

Dance Hall Days - 12:01am

Though Fox still hasn't announced any details on that long-awaited Red Curtain Trilogy box set, a collection of three of Baz Luhrmann's latest films - Moulin Rouge, Romeo + Juliet and Strictly Ballroom - Buena Vista has announced the full specs for their own Strictly Ballroom standalone release. (Though Fox is distributing the Red Curtain box set, Strictly Ballroom is a Buena Vista title, and the 3-pack will be a joint release between the two studios.) The standalone version includes a new 1.85:1 anamorphic widescreen transfer, Dolby Digital 5.1 surround track, French and Spanish subtitles, a new audio commentary with director Baz Luhrmann "and others" still TBA, the "Samba To Slow Fox Dancing" featurette, a "3-D gallery," a deleted scene hidden as an easter egg, and trailers. Retail is $29.95 and street date 3/19.
