Thank you everyone. Yes I am from Pampanga, Will try to get link on the net on how to DIY RPG diffusors.

Also: the room ration that I used: 2.35, 1.6, 1

Reverberation time is around .35 seconds using a reverberation meter

Where exactly in Pampanga??? Maybe I could pay a visit 1 day and see the set-up in person.  I am also in Pampanga...very inspiring....

Cheers.

I have sold my scaler and krell processor. In a few days(crossing my fingers), I will have the Anthem AVM50 as my processor/scaler. It has the latest Gennum VPX chip that rivals the quality of Silicon Optix HQV. I am also installing a Sony Vpl vw100 1080p sxrd projector by mid june for a client. oo nga pala, I will also be having Toshiba's hd dvd player next week. ;D

The amount of detail over dvd might be around 30% increase in resolution. Dvd playback is already outstanding using the built in Gennum Vpx processor. Just got to watch Apollo 13 (hd dvd) again a few minutes ago. ;D

Nice set-up sir.. Jaw dropping talaga..
San mo pala nakuha Anthem & HD-DVD mo sir?
Oo nga pala one of my client using Toshiba HD-DVD XA1 mga 2weeks na & last night bigla nalang nag freeze picture.Problema lang kc dito sa toshiba HD-DVD medyo matagal lang cya mag start meron kcing ROM na kailangan nyang read muna. Kailangan ko bang update software nun sir? 2 times kc nag freeze picture nya.
Kaw sir have u encountered na ba this kind of problem sa Toshiba HD-DVD mo?

Yes, there is a version 1.2 firmware update available that would take 30 minutes to update. I have experience the same with Apollo13 hd dvd. The units are actually linux based 2.5 p4 units. They act like computers that have to boot their OS before you see the picture. There are issues with these machines but it is all worth it when you see REAL HD material.

Actually , I will try it with a Sony Ruby projector next week. The Pj is not mine, it is for a client. still waiting for the holy grail of 1080p projector which is rumored to be released this fall. Actually I am impressed with the quality of the PT ae900 for the price. I have already calibrated it for d65 and the pq is very close to what I have seen several times its price. Almost all high quality PJ have very good D65 color temperature therefore accurated greyscale tracking but if you can tweak the panny 900 or thge Sanyo z4 to track greyscale then you arein for a treat.

Sir alvinthx, for me your system is perfect na as it is 8) and yes the panny pj's are really reasonable pjs to own esp the ae 900 ;D Value for money talaga at a fraction of other high priced units. ;) when My brother(classmate of ashley btw) saw my ae500 pa ha in action, he told me ok na daw for the price compared to his RANCO unit which cost him $20t ;D ;D ;D for me its a positive review talaga. Same as you im waiting for the 1080p PJ to come out before thinking of upgrading my ae500. Hope to see your gears in action one of the coming days ;)

Also guessing, siguro Panasonic 1080? There is a rumor that it will be the Sony "PEARL" with a price of 6000 dollars MSRP. Maybe the street price will be in the range of 4500US. Baka ito kaya ko na. ;)
