amazon.de (Germany)
« on: Mar 31, 2006 at 02:54 PM »
Hi,

Question guys: Last time I e-mailed, amazon Germany and I said that I haven't received my orders yet but based on their expectation, the package should be already in my hands. So after knowing that, they sent me an identical order free of charge. My question is, what am I going to do if both identical packages arrive? How will I refuse the second  order? Should I send it back or just refuse accepting it in the post office?

Thanks and God Bless!

just get the package.. pay the customs fees (one more time), email amazon germany and donate the dvd to a university library. it takes time talaga if the package comes from europe or canada. patience is key. imagine what our marketplace sellers go through..

what titles are we talking about?

They are english subtitled german films of my favorite award winning actor Daniel Bruhl (The two titles I ordered are The White Sound and No Regrets - I also enjoyed his previous films like Good Bye Lenin!, The Edukators, Merry Christmas and Ladies in Lavender). They are popular movies in Germany. This is the first time I ordered from Amazon Germany since I always ask my friends to buy me copies of his previous films from Germany, UK or in the US.

I am considering to donate the films to universities since these films received critical success in Germany. Thank you very much for the reply but I am afraid they'll charge me if I also pick up the second order?

Hi Guys, aside from waiting, what else can I do to follow up the status of my 9 weeks old order from amazon.de?
Can I go to our local post office and ask about my package without any tracking number? or its useless to do?

Thanks...

Hi guys, I finally received my replacement amazon.de order after 5 weeks and I didn't pay any custom charges in the Post office except for the P 35. Since the amount of the replacement order is 0.00, they don't know how to tax it and I said that it was already used, so they just gave it to me.

Actually, Amazon and Amazon UK have never placed price values on the stickers labels of any of my replacement orders. It's always been zero.

Maybe the price tag on replacement orders is from one of your Asian shops, hemisphere?
