these gorgeous speakers arrived last saturday (july 22), & they have since been giving my B&W 602s3 very stiff competition on pure audio application.......so far, i would give the evos my vote for the week

this sweet sounding monster arrived thursday (july 27), & had since been giving me sleepless nights

........this is my BEST upgrade so far in terms of A/V gears, it is well worth all the "anxieties & mental anguish" that i had undergone just to acquire it

_{whew!!! it was indeed a very busy week for me ........time to tighten my belt & face the reality of eating noodles for about a year}

Poging pogi ng EVO mo sir leo.. bat kasi napakamahal dito ng wharfedale... 9.1 cost $349 a pair...what more kung Evo pa...yan ang type kung kulay... trade in tayo ng 602 S3 ko..

Its an ever evolving hobby, prepare for the future. Its an amazing upgrade, let me see I think the next upgrade will be either a DLP or a 3 chip LCD PJ, PJ, PJ!

Next time im in Cebu i'll text you para naman makita ko gears mo. Last year we were there twice, Last March I was there also in Mactan for a convention...hmmmm. I won't fail to inform you the next time. Pwede ba? hehehe

thanks a lot Munskie........saka nalang muna ang PJ ko, ikaw muna dapat ang mag rotel, pare ang laki pala talaga ng difference both on pure audio & HT applications

naku sir aldrin, di lang pogi ito ang ganda pang tumunog

........napansin ko nga rin na medyo may kamahalan ang wharfes dyan, i think the evo 30 retailed at about US$800 when it came out in the U.S. market

about the 602s3, actually i'm even toying w/ the idea of selling my own pair together w/ my LCR60s3 if i can find an evo center

........am not sure if naninibago lang ako sa floorstanders but for the past week that i had been comparing the 2 speakers, i find the evos to have better lows & mids while tie lang sila sa highs, converted into a much better soundstage than the 602s

these 2 speakers kasi have similar materials used in their tweets & woofers, pero lamang ang evo sa cabinet design & crossover circuitry na pang high-end ang dating, hehehe

i'm looking at a PJ upgrade in about 2 years pa siguro, talagang na-drain na kasi lahat ang budget for the HT & i think it's also a good timing since the new formats (HD-DVD & Blu-ray) would have already stabilized by then

just text/call me when you chance to visit cebu again, i'l be delighted to welcome you to our humble abode

.......doc mel (nerveblocker) visited our HT sometime in may this year when he attended a medical convention in cebu

How long did it take to have the room renovated? I also plan to have my "smaller" room renovated, with the shelvings and all. But I'm still saving up.

handsome look & great sound stage lalo na siguro kung speaker ko is bw 602 or evo like yours ang lupet siguro talaga.

.......i think it took about 6 weeks before it was finally completed

........the brand of my A/V rack is Sigma, i got it here in cebu noong 2002 pa, sayang nga yung binebenta ni cruise sa "buy & sell" section na 3-layer Sigma audio rack, bagay na bagay sana sa iyo yun

If I may humbly suggest, sa dami ng gears na nakita ko, all you have to do is focus and make a goal for your dream HT and I am sure you will get your dream HT/audio setup to come true.

But sa bagay, your experimenting with different gears is also part of the fun. I also went through that process. So congrats and enjoy!

........pwera biro, am quiet contented w/ my present combo of Rotel RMB-1075 as power amp. & Yamaha HTR-5860 as pre. amp./processor, ok sila both for pure audio & HT applications

pare, ikiskis mo nalang uli yang card mo at bumili ka nalang ng b-new rack para makita na namin ang new toys mo

master MAtZ, padadalhan ko nalang kayo ng invitation para sa OPENING & CLOSING (na kaagad) ng store namin

as i've mentioned in a previous post, if there's anything that i may have some spare, it is SPACE

......it is actually my plan to put up a pure audio set-up in a separate music room (our old HT room) w/c is adjacent to our terrace so this explains the acquisition of my NAD cd player, & if kakayanin another audio set-up in the living room kaya nga i got the wharfe evo 30 kasi poging-pogi para sa sala

.......idol ko kasi si sir zetroce na maraming audio set-up sa loob ng kweba nya

so ang dami ko pang kulang kung tutuusin

bro sanmig, click mo "Forum Profile Information" na nasa left side ng Profile mo, then dun sa space provided opposite "Signature" type mo ito:

then go to the rotel site, right click mo ang logo nila, then copy - paste mo sya by inserting it to the "Insert image" that you typed above, then click mo "Change Profile".......yun na yun

about sa evo 30, naku pare ang ganda pala talaga nito maliban sa poging-pogi sya
