HT - Yamaha rxv440
wharfedale diamond 9.5- fronts
wharfedale diamond 9cs- center
wharfedale diamond 9.1- surrounds
DTX 4.15 sub
philips dvp642k dvd player

Audio- NAD C352 integrated amp
Monitor Audio B4
Technics cdp

before I considered upgrading my av receiver to a higher powered one. it's a good thing I was able to buy a separate amplifier for audio. it really is worth all the money. HT performance is quite solid partly due to the big subwoofer.

Hanep...nice set up Saltuhin...why not experiment, during HT listening, tap one pre-out from your yamaha and input it in your Nad 352, this way you can compare the fronts, nad/B4 combo and yamaha/9.5...am sure the NAD/B4 combo will bring in different if not better sonics. Cheers

before I have tried running the NAD and the Yamaha on the 9.5s. Sort of transferring the speaker outputs of the Yamaha and NAD and then listening to what the difference might be. Yun bang try mo yung Yamaha then lipat mo sa NAD, tapos lipat ulit. The 9.5s just couldn't give the sound that i was looking for. It was kind of warm for the NAD. Then I looked around for speakers, tried the MA. The B4 made my NAD sing or vice versa. It really is a good match sonically. Right now I'm running the NAD with the tone defeat switched on and it sure sounds great.

thanks for all your concern. I just want to post the pic of the top of the tv which will show that the dvd is sitting on more than enough real estate to ensure good footing.

kawawa naman yung DVD player mo $:-\$ nasa ibabaw na ng TV dinadaganan pa ng center speaker. sir hindi ba burden sa DVD player kung nasa ibabaw siya ng TV? diba nag eemit ng dust yung likod ng tube?

Di ba the problem is more on the vibration issue than the stability?

The center speaker vibrates so it might be harmful to your DVD player or might affect the playback.

I was able to get hold of a nad c521bee to replace my technics cdp.
Rearranged the gears to avoid putting the center speaker on top of my dvd as suggested by sirs matzter and hanz.

the 440 and 9.5 combo is good for ht, medyo wanting lang konti in terms of audio. i was able to get my desired sound dun sa audio from the nad/ma b4 combo. mas lamang in terms sa mids, mas open. just my thoughts.

nice hearing from someone with such a nice audio set-up. i decided to place my amp on top of the cdp for ventilation purposes. i have read from the nad site warning the public on ventilation issues on the c372 and the c272 models. am just being cautious, but i will do note your suggestion. pag nakapag-upgrade na po ako ng av rack magagawa ko na po siguro yun. thanks.
