You might want to sell some of your HD-DVDs at a very reasonable price. You might get tired of looking at Kingkong's lovely face soon enough.

Don't want to spend the full $20 on some some titles kase. I only have 3 at the moment..MI3, The Lakehouse and Syriana.

Yup, Chief Munskie! Just finish watching WTC.

I would agree with the reviews. PQ and SQ are superbly done in this HD format. This one has the 1.85 widescreen version - excellent for your 16x9 widescreen sets.

yes, Hulk got a perfect rating for PQ...... 5 out of 5!!! Highdef's peter Bracke even used the F word to explain his rating.......here's the PQ review...

The Video: Sizing Up the Picture

'Hulk' looks fantastic on HD DVD. I'm tempted to give it five stars for picture quality, despite the fact that I'm sure someone will email me, complaining that I missed that one dead pixel in frame 38,394. But f**k it, I will give it five stars -- 'Hulk' is truly one of the best catalog releases I've ever seen on either next-gen format.

Presented in 1.85:1 widescreen and 1080p/VC-1 video, every element of the presentation is demo quality. The source material is pristine, and apparently Universal has been keeping 'Hulk's HD master in some sort of Fort Knox vault on the studio lot. Blacks, contrast, colors -- perfect. Hues are wonderfully smooth and clean, but not over- or under-saturated. Depth, detail and sharpness are all wonderful -- this is the kind of thoroughly three-dimensional high-def transfer that I imagined all HD DVD titles would be like when I first heard of the format. Universal is also to be commended for a tip-top job on the encode, which suffers from no noticeable compression artifacts or intrusive edge enhancement. I just can't find a single thing to complain about with this presentation. Stand back, 'King Kong' and 'Batman Begins' -- you have a new challenger to the throne of HD DVD supremacy.

Just use the optical cable of the X360 to your receiver.

hello I dont know if this is the place to ask this, but anybody out there have a modified xbox360, anybody already bought the add-on drive hddvd. Im thinking of buying a xbox360 modified for reasons of cheaper games and gaming..I dont know technical stuff..but will the hddvd add-on drive work on a modified (tinkered) xbox360. Games are just too expensive for me at 40 dollars a pop (so im going for a modified one). At least hddvd movies dont cost that much. Thanks

1.85 widescreen format is simply not my cup of tea because that ZOOMS the original to fit the widescreen TV. Para tuloy TV movie ang dating instead na cinematic. Sabagay kanya kanya lang taste yan, and sabagay hi-def pa rin. Give me those black bars please!

For HD-DVD playback, literally weaker than that of DVD. Just crank up the volume of your amplifier a few decibels more.
