Took Shaw Brothers SHAWSCOPE Kung Fu Collection Volume 1, these are the kung fu/shaolin films people with a 70's childhood used to relished, at least in Cagayan De Oro with a lot of Chinoys. I don't remember I had the chance to see any one of the film included in this volume 1 during the 1970s but with Kung Fu there's not much twist or variance from the basic themes - which is revenge, morally righteous if the law of the land is founded on an eye for an eye precept. The funny thing about the 8 disks-collection is that every disk has an accompanying CD soundtrack. Who'd want to listen to those meandering erhu melodies, but thats how Shaw lovingly put these blu ray collection together....
