CD Warehouse?

Was looking for phone numbers of DVD shops in clickthecity.com and noticed this place:

Greenbelt Lower Ground Arcade
Paseo de Roxas cor. Legaspi St.
Ayala Center
Makati City

Never heard of it. Is it any good or is Astro shops better?

it closed... years ago. (they really should update their listings.)

my best guess is that they saw the market for import cds (and dvds) dwindle... and they probably weren't making ends meet. i suppose one of the former owners who is also a member here can answer that question more accurately.  ;)

they also had branches in alabang, robinson's galleria, megamall and their first store in shoppesville (now occupied by cardinal audio).

Not anymore.

Cardinal Audio is moving back to V-Mall this week, 3rd Floor, beside ABC Computers.

good for them... that location in shoppesville isn't exactly a high-traffic area.  ;)

I believe they over expanded. They were making money then when they only had the shoppesville branch. Too bad....this is my second home then. :(

really? that's cool... caught up with one of the salespeople there recently. everyone seems to be alright considering times are relatively rough.  :-\

i think i was able to go to every branch except for alabang...  :)

Well this is what the wife of one of the owners had told me, mall branches never really made it and lost huge amount of  money from the rentals.  They were better off at Ghills and Gbelt. People will find time to go there to buy CD's eventhough they are from the South or North. Sulit naman kasi...
