Topic: CD-R cheaper HERE??! rather than TAIWAN

i went to taipei to survey cdr and dvd prices..
here are the results..

1 NT$ = 1.6 pesos

arita gold cdr = $ 5
Ridata blue cdr = $ 7
Ridata DVD+R = $10


also i went to HK to survey things
1 HK$ = 6.6 PHP

Imation SOHOT = HK$ 1.1
Philips CDR = HK$ 1.2

and also ridata CD-R is much now cheaper here.. only 7PHP each.. how is this possible
and also.. i have a directory listing on the manufacturers of cd in taiwan..
