wade will explode in this series 100%
but i think pistons' defense will win it again for them...

look how they trapped lebron with just lindsey hunter covering him...

then again the heat's lineup is not the same as last year...so this will be an interesting tossup

Pistons in 7....

as for tomorrow Suns vs (my mind tells me San antonio but the heart says Dallas)

Woke up early to watch the game. Cavs don't have enough yet, but the future looks good. They can reach the finals next year, and perhaps even win it all. Just a couple of missing pieces. The bad days will be a thing of the past...

Not bad for Mr. Lebron James. In his 1st playoff appearance, he scored two triple doubles (including his 1st game), scored more than 40 points twice, broke the record for highest score in first playoff road game by a player (41 pts), scored two game winners, extended the league's best team to 7 games, and averaged 31 pts 8 reb and 6 assists in 13 playoff games.

He's definitely a winner in anyone's book. Reminds me of another guy wearing jersey no. 23, said to be the best basketball player of all-time... but the only games he won at Lebron's present age were in North Carolina.  ;D

the missing pieces (in cavs) wont come in cheap, remember the are capped out with hughes and marshall's contract, imho what hurted them is hughes not yet complementing LBJ, remember they just played 40 games or so this season because of ala camby injuries to hughes

IMO, even if they don't add any high priced talent, the nucleus of varejao-gooden-hughes-LBJ will eventually be strong enough to topple older teams like Miami and Detroit in the near future.  Remember, LBJ nearly carried them to the Finals. Add a season or two, they will mature and definitely be a legitimate elite in the east. Its just me though...

cavs were short of shooters damon jones simply wont cut it...also Z man did not rebound did not defend, did not even move...

but props to the cavs they did not lose   game 7 , piston's defense won it.

The Spurs just couldn't match up defensively. Coach Pop had trouble finding the right combination of players to keep up making Nesterovic and Mohammed benchwarmers.  Compared to the Nash led Mavs, this series proves that defense makes a difference. Good for Dallas.

Now please kill those pesky Suns. Please!

well he did not jumpship just to get more money or a better chance at reaching the finals he signed to the spurs because the mavs released him via "the Allan Houston Rule" a one time amnesty rule allowing each team to release one player from their roster without being penalized cap-wise.

pero a very sad fate pa rin ano...

How about those Mavs! These are not the same Mavericks we've seen in recent years. Lots of shooters, lots of good one-on-one players, lots of variety in their offense, great defense, and they've outrebounded every team they've played so far in the post-season.

I think the biggest change is that they have taken on the feisty personality of that little guy who coaches them.

Play of the game, for me: Early in the 2nd quarter, Spurs had the ball, a ref blows his whistle and stops the action. One of the Spurs uses the dead time to practice his shooting, and takes a 20-footer. Dirk sees it out of the corner of his eye, runs to the rim, then goaltends the ball out of bounds. On a dead ball! It was like, "No way! I'm not going to give you even a practice shot!"

That sums up the new Dallas character. Angas na sila ngayon!

That's why avery johnson is the coach of the year....instilled the same hustle and basketball smarts he used when he was still playing...ironically when he was with the spurs. ;D

Wade just played 27 mins :)..Detroit got good looks but cant make them..naubus na yata kay Lebron e ;D
The 2nd team did it for Miami espcially Gary Payton. Suprisingly, Pat Riley made a hack-a-Ben just to protect their lead hehehehehehe

Riley was indeed wise...with a small lead and time's running thin, pistons looking to have a last run,  riley made a hack a ben. moral got busted when the piston's heart and soul bricked the two charities, even some fans got up and walk towards the exit.

Suns went on a 16-4 run the last 3 minutes to steal game 1 from mavs...what can I say?  you blink for a second...and there they are....running running and gunning from the three point line...
