sorry suns fans ah...ill tell my rant and ill make a compliment... The Suns are like a fly that sticks to your neck, your face or your arm that just won't go away kahit ilang beses mo na binulabog.  Pesky is the word for it.  But if you're gonna be objective about it, the suns play very hard, no dilly dallying, and takes advantage of every opportunities, and essentially can always take out the opponents advantage in inside play.  They play small ball, hustles, plays hard and always finds ways to win.  15 to 20 years ago, you have a line-up wherein you have 7 foot centers, 6-10 power forwards, 6-8 or 6-9 small forwrds......and now you can have a 6-8 center and just have other four guys who can shoot threes.  The name of the game now is agility and speed and shooting.  The Suns fit the part perfectly.

Grabe! What an exciting game! Ang bilis! Parang hindi napapagod ang Suns. Nash was awesome especially in the 2nd Quarter. For someone so small, he was able to slash his way to the basket and ran rings around the Mavs defense. Pati si Nowitzki na 7 footer walang magawa! This is really one awesome Suns team now considering Amare - one of their best players is not playing. Maybe they should just trade him next season...  ;D

The last time I rooted for Phoenix was when Barkely, KJ, and Marlej were still playing. Go Suns! Hoping for a Detroit-Phoenix finals. If this happens, the Suns may finally get their Championship. There's no way Detroit will be able to keep up with the speed of the Suns.

The ball may be too light for him and the goal, too low. Hirap magcontrol pag ganun.

yeah, might be that and his large hands. i understand from his wrist and to his middle finger, its 11 or 12 inches long, imagine shooting with that, and he has an old wrist injury suffered when he was young, which doesn't enable him to imitate the classic shooter's follow through.  mental too.  ;D

good good....miami-dallas sana!! ;D ;D  i have just some concern sa career ni wade.  someday, in the many times that wade has hit the floor due to his high flying act, it might take its toll  on his body and might cut his career short.  its good that wade knows how to fall......but he's young....flexible pa.  ;D ;D

Very disappointing playoff performance for the Pistons.  It will be a tall order for them to rally from a 3-1 deficit ala Phoenix in the first round, even if they have two of the remaining games in the Palace.  Not to take anything away from how well Wade, Shaq & Co. have played, but I wonder what's wrong with these Pistons.  They're a far cry from the team that dominated in the regular season.  ???

If the Pistons fold, I agree - a MIA-DAL finals should be more entertaining.  Basta wag lang PHX.  ;D
We deserve better.

Dallas vs Heat :) Both are 1st timers but the Pistons are not yet out...They're deadly when back against the wall pero sana nga matuluyan na hehehehehehe best time for Mourning and Payton to get that elusive championship ring. Crowd went crazy when BigDaddy had a steal then dribbled crosscourt for the easy layup ;) ....Giba ka paghumarang ka dun ;D

Flip Saunders failed to emphasize the importance of defense. Under Larry Brown, the Pistons offense was dictated by their defensive effort. Stressing the importance of moving the ball and taking the easiest shot available to any player on the floor. This year, the Pistons have been taking any open shot they get. With a healthy Wade and O'Neal plus a much more consistent bench, it's no wonder that Miami is a win away from a trip to the Finals.

I am not a Pistons fan, but, I think Pistons are still the Beast of the East...hey guys, we must give credit where credit is due...Coach Flip Saunders doesn't have what it takes to be a coach at the playoffs...

COACH FLIP SAUNDERS' CAREER PLAYOFF ACHIEVEMENT

  • 7 consecutive 1st round elimination with Minnesota Timberwolves.
  • Lost Western Conference Finals to the L.A. Lakers...despite having the best W-L record in the West.
  • Allowed the Bucks to steal 1 win, allowed King Lebron and the Cavs to push them into a 7th game and trailing 1-3 to the Miami Heat...despite having the best W-L record in the NBA. Detroit Pistons were the 2004 NBA Champs and 2005 Eastern Conference Champs (oh right, those were achieved under Coach Larry Brown)...

So, with all those glittering achievements...I, now, know why Dumars decided to hire Flip as the new coach of Detroit replacing a HOFer like Coach Larry Brown...

Nevertheless, I think the Western Champs will continue to hold on to the Championship Trophy...

GO SUNS!!! GO SPURS (OOPS, MAYBE NEXT SEASON)!!!

Nice one, kimpOy!  ;D

I'll take Flip Saunders against Larry Brown any day, twice on Sundays!!  ;)  Detroit might eventually lose to Miami this year, but this should not be taken against Flip.  Yeah, the same group of players reached the Finals last year with Brown... but this is a different Miami team they're going up against with.  If Wade and Shaq were not injured last year, Detroit may not have reached the Finals last year.  Now what has Brown done with the line-up he has in New York?
