i think game 2 will be the crucial one for miami.  if they come up big and win, it's still anything goes.  if they lose,  let's just say dirk is gonna be having his first championship ring... ;D

^ I agree.  The 2-3-2 format heavily favors the team with the homecourt advantage, since it's usually difficult for the other team to win all three middle games.  If Miami goes down 0-2, I won't say Dallas has a lock on the championship, but it surely puts some serious pressure on Miami to win three straight.

Buti na lang walang pasok bukas at pwedeng mag-almusal habang may NBA game.  :)

Is Shaq seeing the sun on the other side of the hill?  For the second game, a very passive O'Neal  shot 1 of 7 in FTs and took only 5 Fg attempts, for his lowest play-off output of 5 points.   Suddenly, it will be Wade who must do some Shaq-lifting.  Wade hinted that game 3 will probably his best game......has to be, the Heat urgently need that.

I hope you're not suggesting that Shaq's FT performance is somewhat of a surprise...1 out of 9 (GM#1) and 1 out of 7 (GM#2)...

because?  :-\

did you get  to watch the game?

Pat Riley gave up the fight beginning of the fourth quarter.  But instead of using the time to play his benchwarmers he used the last quarter to explore possible weakness in Dallas defense, Alonzo Mourning proxying for Shaq.  Henson couldn't even read it until way over four minutes to go when it was obvious that Shaq won't come in already.

that's just one observation. :D

It isnt a surprise yes, but what I was pointing out was the overall dip in his play in a very important stage in the play-offs.  And freethrows were just a part of it. There's a line wherein we can say Dallas' big men did a terrific job in defending him or simply, there is indeed a considerable dip in his play.  Though I suspect the latter, I really hope he could still command his body to contribute a decent 20-10 effort in the remainder of the series.

nice game by Dallas... defense is going to win this for them all the way... Shaq is really frustrated and D-WADE can't penetrate as mush as he would want to...

For Miami to make it back in this series, Shaq really has to wake up and assert himself (and practice those FTs)... his inside game will open up the perimeter for D-WADE and company... if they lose, they really should think of getting a better point than Williams... he's erratic and gets rattled under pressure  :P

the thing is miami is really outplayed, from the starters to the bench to half court setup to fast tempo plays...
shaq's not dominating anymore on a regular basis, wade not simply himself, and payton? he cannot trash anymore...

and about quinito yes he sucks, i remember 2 or 3 years ago (NETS vs INDIANA) a buzzer beater clanked out   hoisted by reggie miller ang sabi niya "malas mga kaibigan, we will have game (5)" but cleary it was the outstretch arms of Kenyon Martin that change miller's line of sight...kakainis...then afterwards that Kmart defense was the talk of the game... he clearly miss that one...

well buti na lang at wala na si Chino Trinidad...
2004 Finals, Pistons vs Lakers, kobe drives....kobe dunk!!!
it;s the dagger in the hearts of the pistons!!!!

eh 1st quarter pa lang ng game 1 eh....may dagger na...super bias

yup best of three...
miami was playing rough, playground bball today, did see all those offensive fouls, did you see GP gave harris a little knee, did you see how dirk fell on his ankle its because there's shaq size 45 shoe... i will not get surprise if i see anthony mason suit up and get in the game, intimidation men, riley's way... and poor dallas has no enforcer that flagrant on stack did better pa for the heat...

hand checks galore...

game 5 get ready to rumble...

Dallas has not been able to dirk its nowitkzi in Miami (if you caught Mark Cuban at Dave Letterman's, you'll be familiar with this phrase).
