Even if you convert it t peso...  That is cheap... considering 59,990 baht is only equal to 81,000 pesos..  That is a 32 inch v series which is priced here at around 140,000 pesos..  Sayang.. I will go to thailand pa naman on january 2007...  Pero no regrets pa rin...  Baka kasi mahirapan ako ihand carry yan and the warranty also matters to me...

if you are a tourist you can get a 7% tax refund at the airport. ofw ako kaya di ko sya ma avail >:(. pero lang pag tourist ka sisingilin ka ng tax pagdating sa atin while ang ofw exempted.

Sony Philippines website posted a price for the 32-inch V Series at just 109,000.
http://www.sony.com.ph/wega/detail.asp?product_id=911&cat_id=3&subcat_id=29&subcat2_id=0

Is this true?

Anybody confirmed this?

This used to be 149,000. Just last week I saw it at 149k.
I frequently visit the Sony Website and price for the 32-inch V Series is at 149k.

To my surprise, today the price posted is at 109k na lang.
I better check the stores tomorow.

Well, it is confirmed.

The 32-inch Bravia V Series LCD is now being sold at 109k.  :o  :o  :o
I asked the Sony Sales Person at the Glorietta Activity Center.

Putik. Kailangan makabili na.   :-[

He just did not know if this is until October 21 only or until December.

This could be a prologue to upcoming 1080p Sony LCDs.

Mura na yan than its counter part from other brands.

Try to compre its features on other brands with the same price.

@nels76

continuing a bit our discussion on the sony lcd tv that dropped in price...
unfortunately i went around asking for it, but it seems it dried out.. so i wasnt able to get a shop to quote me for the cash price of the unit with discount.

given the fact that no shop sells it anymore.. it's best you buy it soon :)

goodluck

Hi Allen,

Wala ka na bang nakita?

I think the 32-inch Bravia V Series has been sold out because of the price drop.
Good thing I already made a reservation at Anson's Park Square and paid 20k for them to reserve 1 unit for me.

I am just waiting for the end of the month to get mine. Medyo kinapos sa Cash  ;D

The Bravia V2 Series is now posted at the Sony Philippines website.

The V2 has 2 HDMI input and has Live Color Creation.
Pangit lang is it only has PIP compared to the V's PAP.

Just got for myself a Sony Bravia KLV-V32A10 over the weekend.
Ansons gave it to me at 105.5k

Lupit ng Pix even on DVD. Unbelievable. parang HD Quality na kahit DVD Source pa lang.

The freebies I got (using the discount brochure):
- HDMI Cable
- DVD Handycam worth 30k
      - Tha Handycam itelf has gift certificate worth 3k. So we got a free tripod at this cost.
- HTIB (We added 5k)
- We still have a remaining 10k discount brochure for the DVD recorder / Hard Disk.

Now waiting for the PS3.

Cheers.

I think V40 is less than 200k na lang. Around 189k but I am not sure about this.

I think sa V40 you will get a higher value of freebies because it is more expensive.

But V40 is running low on stock because it is being replaced by the 40V2 model which is above 200k.

Itong S200A at S2000 (US model) ay iisa lang ba ito? At kung iisa lang ito,so meron pang isa pang model ang S model na S2010 at meron pang dalawa pa pala na S2400 at S2500 o pang US lang itong mga to?

Hi was in the market for a new 32 inch lcd tv and didnt realise how complicated it could get finding the right one to get.  So far have narowed down my choices to 3. the first 2 being sony's the new S series or the old V series which are both 109k ive read people say things about the difference witht the old V series still using the wega  while the new S is using the bravia. does this really make a difference? The third one i was considering was the samsung 32" thats going for 79k. This would be awsome due to the price:) Was just wondering tho if the sony's are really worth the extra cash over the 79k samsung?  Any help advise and opinion would be greatly appreciated Thanks

The V Series Wega Engine is still much better than the S2 Series Bravia Engine.

I have compared them side by side using the same HD and DVD sources.
Where? At some of the common electronic shops like Abensons, Automatic Center and Ansons.

These electronic shops usually display side by side variant models of LCD connected to the same source.
And I have noticed that the V Series has better display than the S2 Series (HD and DVD Sources).

The 32-inch V is still available at the Avant Abenson priced at 109k.
This is a better deal than getting an S2 Series.

I can't answer the question regarding the comparison to the Samsung as I better be careful about posting my opinions but If I were you, bring your own DVDs and DVD Player at the Store and test them using Samsung and Sony LCDs and see for yourself.

I myself even brought my PS2 at Ansons (Pasay Road) to test with the Samsung and Sony LCDs.

You can even bring a VCD and VCD Player at the stores and test them with your shorlisted LCDs and see what LCDs
handle them best.

On HD Sources kasi, the differences among these brands are unnoticeable kaya I suggest you bring SD Sources.

Cheers.

Hi thanks for that.  I got to see the v and S2 series too side by side and it did look better:) so if i do go with the sony ones its the V series for me :) now to figure out if the P30,000 difference between the Samsung S series adn the sony V series is worth it.  this will be mostly used for watching cable tv on sky cable and some downloaded videos from my Pc as i think i would still preffer to watch my DVD's on the projector. Thanks Which one did you get?

Well, since you will mainly use it for watching cable, I suggest you audition your short-listed LCDs using
Cable Programming.

I got the Sony 32V and I am impressed with the Cable Reception so far.

Take note that the Sony 32 V Auto Programs in "I" TV System. This may give you impression
that the Sony V is poor in Cable Reception.
You have to switch individual channel to "M" TV System and it will give you a clearer reception.

The V is also equipped with Noise Reduction and this can be used during Cable Watching.

I am willing to let you show my Sony V if you want to see its performance in Cable Reception.
I can say Impressive - with the NR and the Signal Booster (The Sony 32V has this feature).

I can't speak of the Samsung's as I haven't seen this brand's performance in Cable reception.

Sir allenwfc is right. I got the Sony Bravia KLV-V32A10 for about
