Promac DVD with DCDi (Faroudja)?

Saw the Promac DVD Recorder today at SM appliance center in Bicutan.

It has a DCDi Faroudja logo infront.   :o

Question now.... Does it really have the Faroudja Genesis chip inside?  Will it improve an ordinary 480 resolution via component video connection?

is this a new model or the old one that goes for 9K? if not how much is it now ?  ???

It cost 10k plus.  I don't know if this is the new model.  I just saw it yesterday at SM Bicutan.  There is a logo of the DCDi Faroudja.
