I was really hoping Onkyo would get acquired prior to them declaring bankruptcy. 

Since a merger or acquisition did not materialize, Onkyo might end up like how Sansui did.

Need advise lang po. I have an TX NR545 that can decode dolby atmos. Capable naman syang maglabas ng DTS HD Master. Ang problem lang walang sound na lumalabas. Using VLC player no sound but can decode DTD HD Master. Sa KODI dinadowngrade nya to DTS only. Ano po kayang pwedeng gawin? Does firmware update will help? Salamat.

There is a new model of Onkyo receiver that arrived in the Philippines, Onkyo 696. The Onkyo company that went bankrupt is not the company that makes AV Receivers.
