saw it at 2 locations for P130k plus at Octagon in megamall and in the store at glorietta 4 by food choices

I auditioned it yesterday........

The PQ wasn't impressive..... I was using the what dreams may come dvd to test and noticed green dot crawl (during the tunnel scene the one before robin williams goes to heaven), with the picture at times looking like an HBO movie with very bad cable reception when I tested it especially compared to the samsung R71

I'm attributing this to the connections (sana this TV fits my budget perfectly kasi

)...........the unit was connected via component cables (the thin ones that come shipped with dvd players) to a non-progressive scan dvd player, the PQ of the hitachi unit at listening in style was very different from the one I saw yesterday.......But the price is so competitive I'd like to test it again with better interconnects and a progressive scan dvd player.....

If i go for the hitachi I can actually use the money I save to get an upconverting dvd player and an HDMI cable

or a decent AV rack to put the LCD on

ITS GREAT!

I am using one for my bedroom. Sonny's son (no pun intended) was just at our place awhile ago and he said that the PQ of this LCD TV was better than the Samsung IHO (in his op).

I am using it with a non progressive scan dvd player and the PQ is already stunning.

PQ of the 32LD380

taken w/o flash on a fully lit room. PQ is better w/ the naked eye.

Dinosaur na Pioneer DV-233 non progressive scan DVD player using thin component cables. I used monster before and the PQ was better, but I needed the monster component for my main setup.

LOL, baron cable (Baron Antena) lang gamit ko, para suportahan ako ni missis sa DVD collecting hobby kasi walang cable

Any comments from other users with cable?

Btw, I also have a GIEC 720p/1080i DVD player that I use for my main setup. I tested it with this unit once, pag nag 720p yan sa Hitachi, gaganda pa yung PQ. Pero since 32" lang yung size, the improvement is not as big as 42" up TV's.

Please take note that those TV's priced at P85k are parallel imports and are not warrantied by the local distributor.

Make sure there is a warranty from the parallel importer.

To the other users of this unit, I just noticed though that when the unit is on "Mute" there is a ticking sound on the lower left corner at the back near the AC cord connection. Is this normal? or its just my unit.

ang alam ko hd capable. but not totaly hd. kung hd talaga to price nito siguro less 200T. kaya mura ang mga lcd na hd capable. pero check ko mabuti.
