Need help... Sansui au 7500 repair
« on: Jun 21, 2006 at 11:31 AM »
Hi!  I need information from you guys... I need to have my Sansui AU 7500 repaired.  Do you know of a local shop anywhere in Manila which could repair my baby?  The problem is - there's crackling sound from the left channel coming out of the speaker.  I tried cleaning the pots and switches and the problem is persistent.  I need to have it serviced by a qualified techy.  Please let me know if you have a recommended shop who could genuinely repair my baby.  Thanks in advance!
Imagine what I could do if I could do what I can...

Brod, you can try Fil Audio Service Center, Unit 1086-1087, V.V. Soliven EDSA.  It's the building right after Hyundai Ortigas.  Telephone # 7262697.  They've been servicing Sansui gear for a long time.

Sir,

When I bought my sansui au7500 from the previous owner, he told me exactly about the same problem that you were discribing in your post. All he had to do was change some of the transistors whihc appeared to be leaking. Don't know where he had it serviced, but I suggest you also try to PM sir Dana. He's got the 9500 and knows more about these kind of problems. He might be able to help you with it.

Thanks,
