Ang magandang tanong dito ay paano pinag-kasya sa isang disc lahat, kasama yung extended scenes.  Baka mamaya ay sacrificed na ang picture quality...might have some pixelation, for audio quality naman...baka walang DTS or DD-ES.

I would have reserved these new LOTR dvds if there wont be other new dvd releases this month.

But because there are a lot of new upcoming dvd releases (Lost, Desp Housewives, Supernatural, Nip/Tuck S3, The Simpsons S8, Silent Hill, Poseidon, United93, Somekind of Wonderful, etc) I decided not to get it. Same goes with the new Star Wars dvds.

They are on DVD18, that's a two-sided double-layer (DVD9) disc, right?  That means the picture quality wouldn't suffer...  Any other DVD18 DVD out there?

And what does seamless branching refers to?

Warming up to double dipping...  probably because of the generous discounts offered by sellers... at $29.95@, it's hard-to-shallow, but at $20 or less, it's much more palatable...

i'm a big LOTR fan and i think this is sick.
I already bough all the different versions already. Spent mega bucks buying weta statues.
now this.. i will bet prices will drop fast.

I will wait for HD DVD if ever.
