you can use some of the following in place of your 12AU7.

6189
5963
5814
6680
ECC82

some say that 6067 and CV491 can also be used, however I haven't done that personally.

give credit where credit is due. most of the info i got have also been passed on to me by other people, some are not even audiophiles like an old tv technician of the vacuumtube age.

this particular info has been unselfishly and generously shared by fellow member - SIMPLE - a very simple man with a wealth of info in the field of pinoy audio & video. hats off to you senyor!

Sayang. I bought mine new in box several times that amount. Nagmadali kasi ako. Baliktad nangyari sakin.
At the time, namili ako ng namili ng tubes for my AMX then and for future projects na iniisip ko nuon.

That's 200/pair. FWIW, madami ng members dito at sa ibang forums ang nakabili dun since it was shared two years ago. Don't know about their status, haven't been there in a while.

edsa going to makati side, kahilera ng star mall tawid ka ng shaw. doon sa ilalim ng shaw mrt station enter sultan st. then left agad sa sierra madre. direcho lang yung second street- kanlaon #64 building to your left. if i remember rite pagpasok ng spin office, tingin ka sa kaliwa. nakadisplay yung mga heatsinks. tama ba matt?

yeah same price....bro. mejo malayo ako baka may mga tropa ka malapit sa shaw blvd mrt/ shang/starmall etc. 12au7a cleartop tube with side-getter (yung silver nasa tabi)..most of the tubes wala na label/mark but one or two tubes i saw clearly labelled - honeywell u.s.a. - m not sure if its minneapolis u.s.a.

if you search net- "honeywell 12au7a", baka rca din gumawa? kasi hindi naman holland sayang amperex sana tumotorotot?!
