i think both hemisphere, these are first release versions of platoon in dvd and now oop. you can still see the thx certification on the left cover. the ones available now in the market are special editions with newer transfer in anamorphic formats while the latter in letterbox widescreen. you won't see a thx certification on the newer cover of the dvd.

WWF DVDs not WWE DVDs

After A Losing Effort in Maintaing WWF trademark by World Wrestling Entertainment back in 2001 against World WildLife Fund, they discontinued and pull out all WWF Materials/Sales and even WWF DVDs

Since then, new releases are under WWE Logos

As far as the WWF DVDs pricetag is concerned ... the original $15-$20 cost back in year 2000 below jacked up now on auction markets / black markets ranging from $50 to $70

Around 1998, Flash Gordon by Image Entertainment released in Snapper Case was recalled from the market.

The reason: because of a mastering flaw. The DVD's sound was encoded with a discrete left and discrete right channel soundtrack instead of its proper surround stereo soundtrack.
