Can someone text me what happened in today's episode? I live in Mother Ignacia where almost ALL electrical posts were damaged during yesterday's storm. We still have no power, phone line or internet for two days now.

I'd have texted you, but I don't have your number.  ;D

Anyway, in case you want to catch what you missed, Studio 23 is airing both last week's and this week's episodes of Survivor: Cook Islands tomorrow, Saturday, October 7, primetime (7:30PM onwards, I think). They botched the live broadcasts this week, for both this show and TAR, joining both programs about 20 minutes into the broadcast already.

As for today's evictee, I think it's a decision that will come back to bite the tribe in the ass over the next few weeks.  ::)

Also thought it was too early to vote the men off at Raro. If the women really wanted to maintain their numbers, they should have voted off Adam instead. He seemed more useless than JP although Adam was less of a threat strategically.

Given his previous demeanor during tribal council, I was surprised that JP gave a gracious exit. Now that the Latinos are paying for the thrown challenge, Billy must be ecstatic at seclusion island.

Thanks to Reuven for the update while we we had no power. :) Hankey, I'll send you my number, hehe. I totally forgot about that haha!

I'm now about three episodes late because of all the problems post-Milenyo. I hope to watch the episodes I've missed soon through torrents.

The final tribal council vote really irritated me. Quite sad, especially when you see how tight a bond the Koreans have formed on the opposite tribe. It would be one thing if Jenny has been shown to be annoying or weak or a liability in challenges. But to have the only other Pinoy turn on her for no clear reason just bothered me.

I will say this: Brad is probably the only one in the entire game who isn't using the race card as part of his strategy. So he's probably more enlightened than everyone else. Or more naive.  ::)

Cao Boi's theory about the White Tribe's alliance regrouping and eliminating everyone else after the merge is just so obvious. Whichever team goes to Tribal Council next week, they need to vote off one of the whites. Either they do that, or they deserve to be voted off.

Are you sure, chief, that Jonathan will stick with his former tribe (the Whites)? Let's wait and see...'coz, if, he sticks with the other 4, then, he is naive, too... ;) Me think the Raro tribe will be picked/voted-off one by one...

Will the whites actually regroup?  Wasn't Flicka already turning her back on Jonathan on the last tribal council?  I think, for the foreseeable future, Jonathan would have to make do with his alliance with Yul et al, and they'd be the ones to do the picking off on the Raro tribe.

There are reports that...

TV Guide Magazine confirmed that another double boot episode will be on November 16, and the merge episode will be on November 23.

10/26: Recap
11/2: 8th boot
11/9: 9th boot
11/16: 10th & 11th boots
11/23: Merge, 12th boot/1st juror
11/30: 13th boot/2nd juror
12/7: 14th boot/3rd juror
12/14: 15th boot/4th juror
12/17: Final 5

This looks interesting...a Final 5 finale...

I think Brad and Flicka are toast...Brad (hmmm...I smell a rat/snake...) for being the only one who voted for Jenny...Flicka? Between her and Ozzy, I think Flicka will be voted-off first...since, Ozzy is being edited as the provider of Aitu...Aitu will keep Ozzy for a while, unless, Candice loses the trust of her Aitu tribesmate...That all depends on whether or not her fellow Aitu tribesmate caught what she was doing, those sign/body languages with Adumb, during the Raro TC...

Uh-huh.  ;D

I felt bad for him in a way - he was really trapped into that decision by Candice. But you did hear them plotting to regroup with the whites before that.

It was a fun episode. Sweet revenge for the abandoned members of the Aitu tribe. It's just so much fun to see the underdogs win challenges.

As far as tribal council went, I'm not sure who was more stupid - Brad for saying he didn't trust his tribe, or everyone else, for still not breaking up the obviously strong white alliance.

Well, whatever the outcome is, I just hope the "Aitu 4" can make it all the way, sorry, Jenny fans, I'm cheering for the underdogs...

I think Yul/Ozzy/Becky/Sundra will make it to the merge, Yul will make use of his HI and allow his own tribemates to win/hold on to the II...It's interesting to watch how the 4 will ever survive this one...

based on the TV guide PR -- 2 will be booted out next, I hope that the Raro tribe will be one by one by one less...

hmmm, correct me if I am wrong, if ever the "Aitu 4" goes on to become the Final 4...they are the first group of 4 who didn't backstab anyone, since, they're the one backstabbed by Candice and Jonathan, plus, they really don't have any alliance or allegiance with the other 5 (Adumb, Jenny, Nathan, Parvati and Rebecca)...

Okay, since you asked for it  ;D: That's wrong, since Yul clearly backstabbed Cao Boi (and Flicka) and pretended to go along with his plan to flush out the hidden immunity idol, while Ozzy was the very first backstabber of the season - he engineered and threw a challenge in the most obvious way, to get rid of Billy (although when you think about it, Billy really deserved to be voted off that way).

What happened to Brad this week? On hindsight, I think it may have been a warranted decision, since the guy clearly had no loyalties. He's too unpredictable if you're playing the game. He was very close to JP, but blindsided him; then the week his tribe decided to vote off Christina (the Puerto Rican cop), he went against the tribe's decision and voted for Jenny - his original tribemate and co-Pinoy!

But I'm also rooting for the Aitu 4 right now. Hopefully Jenny & Nate realize the white alliance by the time of the merge, and shake things up a bit.

I guess you're right about that, but, CB and Flicka and Billy are not in the jury, right? What I meant was those who will form part of the jury...the "Aitu 4" won't be backstabbing anyone, starting from yesterday's episode 'til the finale, right? ;)

Hmmm...Nate realizing the white alliance? From the look of yesterday's episode, I don't think so, even he wanted Brad voted-off...

isn't this like a semi-reality show?... i mean, the events are obviously scripted but the ... err, "coupling" is oh-so-real. kind of like a kinkier, no-holds-barred "MTV's real world"?

Stupid whites.  >:(

I wonder if Nate has wisened up to that, or if he's still as clueless as ever. Sad to say - he's actually the swing vote that can change this game at this point.

Hahaha...that's why they keep on losing...'coz the whites ARE stupid...

Jonathan -- he's playing too hard, too obvious...

Candice and Adumb -- hey, they're just there for each other, lovefest, which makes me puke...I don't mind them making out with each other, but, hey this is survivor, plus, they're not on Aitu's (the underdogs) team...Adumb is no Rob, for him to be able to carry himself and Candice all the way...I would rather watch a lovefest between Brad and JP, OOOPS!!! lol... ;D

Parvati -- hmmm...I just hope she sticks around until the Final 5.... ;D

Nate -- I don't think he'll wisen up...I think he will be clueless until he gets the boot...

Here's a puzzle for PinoyDVD survivor fans...

Since, the composition of the jury started with Brad, one of the twists that shocked everyone...the GREAT DEBATE among the Survivor Fans community is this, the Finale could turn out to be a...
* Final 2 - with a 10-men/women jury...or
* Final 3 - with a 9-men/women jury...
which just might cause a tie...if that's the case, how will the tie be broken?

GO AITUS!!!

TSISMIS!!! ;D

There is a RUMOR, that, post-survivor...Nate just didn't get the girl (Parvati)...the one who PROBABLY gets the girl (Parvati) is OZZY!!!

Parvati must be thinking, "Well, Nate can't climb trees and get coconuts like Ozzy does. Nate can't swim like Ozzy does. Nate doesn't provide the foods for his tribesmate like Ozzy does."  ;D

My favorite episode of the season!

From the immunity challenge, Ozzy is definitely part monkey.  ;D

I love the exit speech of the loser:

[SPOILER: Highlight to read]Jonathan, kiss my ass. You a dirty, stanky, wack fruitcake who sold me out. You sold out our tribe when we brought you in, you trading bastard. So kiss my ass, Jonathan![/END SPOILER]

Bitter much?  ;D

Possible spoilers:

Great episode! Go underdogs! Was that the first time ever that they didn't show a single vote while they were voting? Or am I just under the wrong impression. Mr. Hankey would you know? :)

Next week: They're not sharing food, hahaha! That's such a slap in the face. ;D But with the 2 providers in the "Aitu" group now, that's just too bad for Raro.

I'm sure they've done that before, but I can't remember exactly when.  ;D

But if I remember correctly, on that one, they didn't show the written name, but we heard some of the comments of the voter shot from above, so you couldn't see the name of who they actualy voted for.

If Yul decides on Jonathan next, then he'll be going back on his promise to Jonathan when he coerced him to shift sides.

I don't see Yul doing that, at least not until after Adam is out.
