Topic: Can a 29" TV hold a heavy Center speaker?

Mga Sir, question lang can my 29" TV (CRT TV) hold a BW LCR60 S3 Center speaker. I'm just worried since medyo bago yung TV baka di kaya yung center speaker on top of it. Please advice.

Check the manual of the TV, some manufacturers indicate the maximum load to put on the top of the TV.

Pero minsan kasi tantyahan din, kung baga may sense kang nagdedetermine kung bibigay ba or hindi (or something to that extent).

Or kung di ka talaga sigurado, build a center speaker bracket.

Thank you Sir for a quick response. Hirap din kasi ako humanap ng bracket. I have checked the manual walang load capacity yung TV, although the TV weigh about 50 Kilos. If there is a member who have the same setup please share your thoughts..

Check also if the speaker is magnetically shielded...
if not, it will cause picture problems for you, and might damage the TV permanently.
The speaker manual should indicate if it is TV safe.

I can no longer confim if the speaker is magnetically shielded (lost manual) but siguro naman. When I put it on top of the TV wala naman ako nakikita discoloration sa TV. Thank you Sir for the advice.

DIY center stand lang katapat nyan... piece of 3/4 plywood, pako and pintura lang katapat ng problema mo bro kung di ka maselan...

Its not really the weight of the speakers but the vibration. It might loosen up something inside your TV

I'd still suggest putting the center speaker on a rack below the tv. I've read this from Robert Wolenik's book called How to Build Your Own Home Theater. It most cases, it may also be easier to level the center speaker with the fronts too, especially D'Appolito ones, which is most ideal. Just an idea.

Tama si sir arthurallanj... kaya ako binago ko set up ko... IMHO, mas maganda kasi mag blend kapag mag kasing level ang tweeter ng center, front left and front right speaker or mas mababa ang center...

I bought a monitor shelve sa computer shop na pinapatong on top of a PC monitor mukhang ok na rin adjustable pa.
