I'm using a denon 2308 pala.

@Conan, i'm not sure if it's the memory battery coz it seldom happens. Basta napansin ko lang pagnawala na ang audyssey sa receiver screen, unlock na ang menu settings. I'm using a sony remote commander, baka may mga buttons na nag de-activate siguro.

Meron yan but it's actually a capacitor. It's the one responsible for "remembering" the receiver's settings if you unplug the unit. Over time this capacitor will eventually fail and need replacement.

I need help with my Denon 1610. Watching mkv movies using laptop and as well as PS3 have problems in the display. After 5 to 15 mins or so, the display suddenly goes black and the information display on Denon blinks for a second. After a few seconds the display goes back again. This may happen every now and then.

The sound though is not interrupted. Im using HDMI for both sound and video. Upon trying optical for audio and HDMI direct to the Toshiba dLCD isplay, there is no problem occurring. What could be wrong with it?

Any suggestions on trouble shooting?

Toshiba Regza, problem is I also tried PJ Acer and it also happens once in a while. Could it be affected by power fluctuations or is it an hdmi cable problem. Im using CDR King HDMI cables and 500W AVR.

I also encountered similar issue, but im using Onkyo. CD-R King cable also. But this when I connect my PC to the Receiver. Im not sure which is the culprit yet because when I connect my pc directly to the TV it also has issues.

Ive checked the manual of Denon, it says the system should be HDCP compliant, does it have something to do with high bandwith content when playing HD files? maybe the CDR King cheap hdmi does not provide enough high speed  for playing HD files. HDMI seems to have no problem with the visual. only that it blacks out unpredictively once in a while.

I dont think so, it either work or not. Most likely sa implementation ng HDMI sa tv, my video card, or my receiver...

My AVR is now working now with no problems in flickering. Its an hdmi connection problem. The CDR King HDMI cables have some issues so i replaced it with manufacturer HDMI cables 1.5m that is free from samsung. CDR King HDMI 3m and above could not catch up with high speed communication specially when playing 720p 1080p mkv with DD and DTS sounds.

I think the power figures are wrong in that article as the 1912 has less watts than the lower models.

newbie to this hobby and 2310CI user here. ganda ng performance ng denon!  ;D i play mostly downloaded mp3 songs and movies, ganda ng details and soundstage, i'm hearing sounds i did not hear from my previous htib. multeq is godsend.

my room is 0% treated, wonder how it will sound pag may treatment. still researching for a budget-friendly but descent sub (for more movie rumble effect) to complete the set-up pero hindi naman nagmamadali coz my FS puts out great bass (Ezra, care of sir Anthony)

btw guys, can you share your denon settings? mahilig kasi ako magtinker hehe. anyway for me, i use multeq, dynamic eq, plII music w/ panorama on for both movies and music (i like surround).  of course ganda rin ng direct mode nya. all the other settings mostly default para closer to the original material.

Go to Manual Settings / Speaker Settings. Make all speakers "Small". Set an appropriate crossover. Usually 80 Hz

It usually takes 3 months from the time a product is announced before it makes it to our shores.

I'm saving for the 1912 as well. I have 5 Apple devices on my home LAN so it would be nice to have airplay available to send stuff from the devices to the HT wirelessly.

Here is a nice review of the Denon 1912. I think this model is a good "bang for your buck". Aside from having Airplay, it has 6 hdmi ports plust 9 speaker terminals. It's an almost complete receiver at its price level.

Just got my 3312 last night....after using it for a couple of minutes, biglang namatay ang power tapos after a second nag on ulit  :-\  tapos namatay after mga 5 seconds, then on ulit...kala ko nag trip lang ung wires ng speakers, pero i tried unpluging everything except power, ganun pa rin  :'(  nag try na rin ako ng ibang outlet, nag reset na rin ako ng micro processor (power+preset2+preset3 combination) to reset to factory settings.  ano ba naman to, ka ddeliver lang last night  :'( :'( :'(

may naka encounter na ba sa inyo ng ganito? TIA!
