Pahingi ng opinyon..i have a denon dra 685 (nabili kay sir cnn)
100watts per chanel..whats the best thing to pair this for metal listening?
Titus bs? Polk audio rti a3?

tanong ko lang, parang nabasa ko sa isang sa mga thread, yung denon 1912 walang upscaling? so pano pq nya as compared to other receivers or ang bd player at tv na bahala sa pq nya?

akala ko same lang sya ng 1911, yung airplay lang ang alam kong difference. wala nga syang upscaling/upconversion features.

im planning to get my first AVR, and considering different brands and denon is one of them, but i have a very limited budget, what model has the cheapest price po and where? the important thing is a least its 5.1, w/ HDMI foy my lappy/PC as movie/music player, and for the meantime i will use my 5.1 speakers here,thanks po

Denon av receivers are great esp the 1910 series
Unfortunately their aftersales service (lotte)is a different story.
Had my dads less than 100 hr used and just barely a year 3310
serviced for repair early july 2011.
Its nov. 5 now and they have not fixed the damn thing yet! Still waiting for the replacement parts daw.
The only upside is their reseller a member of pdvd was more than accomodating and lent us a 2210 til the unit is fixed.

anyone here able to use "universal remote" function of their receiver?
i have an LG TV and wanted to use the receivers remote to control it. thanks

hi sir ninjababez, I'm able to use the avr (1911) remote to control my Samsung LED. Just make sure to input the correct preset codes for LG (there maybe a number of codes, you just need to select which one will work). For Samsung, there are 4 preset codes, and the last one worked for my tv.

btw, my remote maybe different from yours, but just in case I'm using RC-1146. hope this helps.

your manual should have a separate booklet that contains the codes you can use in controlling other equipment, if not, you can check in the denon site and dl perhaps.

nasa cd yung manual ng denon, pareho nung nasa online.
iba na kasi ang format ng denon remote ngayon

eto image nung ibig ko sabihin kung kasama na ba sa setup yung code.

yung may nakalagay na code yung number sa tapat nun ang input mo din sa remote mo, sometimes madaming codes for apartcular brand and device, example LG Tv may have 5 different codes, yuo must try to input everything until you get the code that will work,

in your illustration, you need to input 10556 as code but if it will not work, there is another code 10556(1/2), im sure there is an option to check the other code.

when programming the TV, press the button that says TV in your remote and follow the rest of the instructions

Denon Masters, I need your opinions/suggestions/recommendations on the Denon AVR-2311CI 7.2 Channel A/V Surround Sound Receiver. I am going to upgrade and I am looking to upgarde to this AVR. Does anybody own this?

bro marts paghandaan mo na ang remote configuration nyan, malaki pinag iba dun sa dati natin nakagawian.

btw on paper mukhang swak na swak sya na upgrade para satin na nang galing sa 1509, yun lang masasabi ko sa ngayon

Tama si sir onkyo, sa case mo select mo yung tv as source. Mukhang nakita mo na yung codes at 2 yung options mo. Gumana na?

Magkaiba bro. After mo ma-input yung code try mo press yung menu sa avr remote. Eto yung pang test ko. Make sure na naka select yung tv sa avr mo. Pag hindi nag work, press mo yung quickselect2 then repeat yung process ng pag input ng codes then try another code. Then try mo ulit kung nakocontrol mo na yung tv. Pag nag work na tska mo press yung quickselect1.

Ok I changed my mind. I am leaning to a better upgrade - 4310CI nalang
