has anyone tried out playing a 3D bluray to a non-3D capable denon receiver then out to a 3D display? my bro confirmed that he was successful using a denon 2308 with his 3D bluray and plasma watching bluray 3D.

Ang pagkakaalam ko sir, dapat 3D-capable lahat, from source, amp, to tv. kasi from amp to tv dapat hdmi 1.4 para mag run yung 3D. Hindi kaya sir naka connect yung player diretso sa tv via hdmi 1.4 then out yung audio to amp via optical?

Puwede din 1.3 na HDMI for the 3D tried this one with my setup and smooth ang play.

ito ang setup nya sir

samsung bluray 3d --> free hdmi ng samsung-->denon 2308-->standard hdmi---> samsung 6 series 3d plasma display

yes sir, but from what I've read you wont get full 1080p 3D via hdmi 1.3. I have to correct myself, hdmi 1.3 do pass 3d signals, but probably only SBS format  ??? correct me if im wrong pls

I have tried the following:

Wharfedale's: Diamond 8 series - center, 8.3 floorstanders WH2 surrounds and US Audio 12' sub - character is very warm (better for music)
Infinity's Primus Series: Primus 360 floorstanders, Primus C25 center, Primus 150 surround and US Audio 12' sub - character is very bright (better for movies)
SVS S-Series: SCS-02's LCR, SBS-01 surrounds and SVS PB12NSD sub - character is perfect for both movie & music ;)

For me, SVS brader. Hanep talaga ang tunog nya. Even sa vocal and dialogue brader, loud, crisp and clear. ;)

You're miss a lot of function if you don't connect your receiver sa network...

Internet Radio
Use it as player for digital file
Remote  it using your laptop or ipad and android tabs/phones
Walang Setup
