You're miss a lot of function if you don't connect your receiver sa network...

Internet Radio
Use it as player for digital file
Remote  it using your laptop or ipad and android tabs/phones
Bro wired or wireless connection? dongle?  thanks

Madali lang yan.. bili ka isa pang wireless router with ethernet port na capable mag bridge.. Tapos itabi mo sa receiver.. Problem solved he he he... Ganyan setup ko dati.. pero since nilipat yung phone line sa kwarto sa kwarto ko na din nilagay yung Router.. pero dati alang router dun.. so nag bridge na lang ako..

I was able to test it briefly with a 4311 and 3312. Ok Naman, Some local fm radio stations are accessible also via Internet radio.

Yes, that's true. I have PSB Imagines and Denon 4311-Emotiva XPA5 in my 7.2 HT setup. And just recently, I set up a simpler 5.1 setup in the Multi-Purpose Room at the office with Denon 3312 and previous generation PSB Image speakers: B25 fronts, C60 center, B15 surrounds and Subseries 1 sub.

Hindi naman brader! Natsambahan ko lang yung Denon 3312 sa Amazon at a killer price. Yung image c60, yung raffle prize in Rex last Xmas EB. Good deal din yun image b25 ni mark, so binuo ko na lang. Hehe

My opinion is 4520 isn't worth the difference to the 4311. If you want to save cash go for the 4311 model.
Consumer 4k is still a few years away and you can find a internet router for less that 1500, 9.2 is only for big rooms and most blu rays today are mixed in 7.1.

edit: read more about the new 4520 and they say the interface is much easier to use than the 4311.  New is audyssey LFC which is like dolby volume but instead it tames the bass so it does not disturb your neighbors.

here's more info you can custom disable amps on the 4520, on the 4311  you an only turn off all amps.
InstaPreVue mode which will display small PIP previews of other hdmi devices connected to your receiver. You also get dts neoX

I agree. The upgrade from 4310 to 4311 was major: Audyssey XT32.

From 4311 to 4520, it seems there are many little improvements that are nice to have, but I can do without, for now.

Audyssey LFC is something I don't really need with a treated room, hardly anything can be heard from the bedroom beside the HT room, although the living room is another matter (the solid door is not enough to prevent the bass from leaking out). Also, if LFC lessens the "massage effect" of the SVS subs, I don't want it at all.    ;D ;D ;D

InstaPrevu is cute but not really useful and from what I read works best for large screen setups, i.e. PJs. As for the router, well I already have a switch and airport express in the room.

Anybody here na merung 2012 model ng Denon?

Particularly yung 2113CI.... Just wanna know if it's good. Currently considering it over a 616 due to the numerous issues and bugs ng 616.

Thanks :)

got mine last feb sir, updated firmware once or twice ata pero d ko alam kung anong ipinagbago :D same lang naman features..

try connecting it to your network sir, internet radio is good.. i listen to it sometimes pag sawa na ko sa mga music files ko..
another thing i really like is i can play my music (PC music files)  to the denon without transferring it to a flash drive or burning it to a cd, derecho na stream sa denon through the network.. "net/usb" dapat yung source ng denon

airplay is also nice pero d ko ginagamit kase quality is not that good. and you can use your iOS devices to control the receiver. :)
