Help mga sir.

I have denon 1912 and it is set to:

HDMI audio out - AMP
HDMI Control - ON

Ang problema kapag naka-on ang amp sa tv parin lumalabas ung sound. pag inoff ko ung control ok na sya sa speakers na lumalabas sound pero kailangan ko kc ng passthrough pag nakapatay ang amp.

ang source ko ay pc hdmi output.
tinry ko pati xbox ganun din.

naencounter nyo na ba ang ganito?

FYI nagkaproblem rin ako sa HDMI cables parang namimili sya ng cable from HDMI monitor out to TV. sa ngayon ang gamit ko ay ganito:

PC > HDMI 1  using Audiopro HDMI 1.3b
Xbox > HDMI 2 using Audiopro HDMI 1.3b
HDMI monitor out > LED TV (LG 32LE5500) using 1.4 HDMI cable

posible kayang kailangan ko magpalit ng lahat 1.4 cables para sa problem na to?

still looking for my first receiver,,,,anong model ng denon should i get? budget 30k to 50k for the receiver. will use it to power either wharfdales or polk. room is about 15ftx18ftx9ft. thanks...

hey dollarman. still having trouble?  isnt the pioneer lx 53 a good enough model? well if your look at denon the n Denon AVR-2112 or the 1912 would be my pics.

well, i did follow ur advice and went auditioning last weekend. yep polk and wharfdales for me. i did get to listen to the yamaha and onkyo. so expanding my choices. ill take a look at this avr 2112

Why dont you try the 13' models.

2113 is available here in pinas na.

Weird. E kung set mo to "TV" yung hdmi audio then back to "AMP", check mo kung anong mangyari. Ang mahirap nyan baka kapag naka set to "TV" yung hdmi audio out tapos sa speakers mo naman lumabas yung sound hehe baliktad kumbaga

Kung hindi pa din gumagana, try mo na i-reset to factory default yung 1912 mo

the price jump for DENON 3313 to the 4520 is huge. so theres no model to fill in that gap?

Guys newbie lang po ako,ask ko lang do you think it is good to pair Denon avr-2113 to boston speakers for 5.1 or 7.1 set up? I tried auditioning the same set up here in qatar kaso for music lang, how about for movies?

Though sa musics maganda sya and nagustuhan ko yung quality nya

May quote ang isang pdvd guru which I like and agree (I forgot who he is): "If its good for music then its good in HT, but not the other way around" :D Boston Acoustic ba? Sabi ng friend ko ok naman daw for music although Onkyo gamit nya so I suppose mas maganda sya kung Denon (correct me if Im wrong)

I used to believe this also but I think this is not always true especially with speakers. Lalo na if ang type mong music are mellow, slow, soft... You tend to get warm sounding speakers which for me are kinda "bitin" and sounds too soft when it comes to HT application...
Preference pa din talaga... :)

Preference pa din talaga... :)

Agree with the preference, kaya siguro marami ang may dedicated speakers for HT and for audio :)  but for me, HT application is not much of critical listening compared to music so I think being warm, laid back, etc is not too much of concern when it comes to HT  ;D yun naman e sa akin lang ulit  ;)

I have heared a lot of speakers na masarap pakinggan kapag 2-channel audio, very relaxing, smooth and soft. Pero nung ginamit namin sa HT with the matching center eh parang kulang sa detalye especially during fast paced action sequences, parang bitin at may kulang, minsan pa nga parang ngongo yung dialogue ;D. Meron din namang speakers na maganda sa HT, clear and full of details pero pag ginamit mo sa 2-channel audio minsan ear piercing lalo na sa female vocals...
Gear matching at preference talaga when choosing gears... :)

Dito po ako abroad brader sa peso ang benta nila ng AVR-3311 nasa 31K naka sale po kaso nag-iisa na lang daw yung 2312 nasa 2 daw po..

Denon AVR-3311 230V 50hz pwede po kaya sa pinas ito di po ba magkaka-problema yung x-former ko kapag matagal na ginagamit? dahil sa AC natin 60hz....TIA!
