I was out of town for 1 1/2 weeks and only got a chance to watch today but my denon 1909 suddenly got problem. After turning on, light turns green then goes off and red light blink.

Has anyone encountered this before? Pls advise how to fix it. Thanks.

Haven't encountered anything like that. Try first turning it on with everything disconnected except the power cable. try also checking the manual for troubleshooting tips. Will try to check mine later when I get home.

Haven't encountered this. There is a reset procedure for the AVR, which should be found in the manual. I suggest you try that.

Hi fellow Denon owners!

Im an owner of a Denon 3806 & can't find the "sleep function" neither in the receiver or remote control. Any help will be appreciated.

Yup, did this pero same problem. Sobrang excited ko pa naman manood kagabi. Try ko mamya suggestion ni streetsmart.

Mukhang kailangan nang dalhin sa service center. Thanks for the advice.

Similar thing happened to my dad's 1709. Fresh from the box. With nothing connected except the power chord to the outlet. It would turn on, blink red for a few seconds then shut down. Manual said that it was an amp problem. Had to bring the unit to the service center. Since it was under warranty, didn't have to pay for anything.

So it's not isolated to this model (3806), lahat pala

? Can't use it during the night to induce sleep, the receiver easily gets hot na ayaw ko na matulugan.

Meron ba update software updates ang Denon that adds more audio decoders?
Kasi meron ako isang movie na hindi ma decode and audio, so wala tuloy sound.
I tried the same movie sa PS3 meron naman sound so it means meron decoder yung PS3 for that audio na wala yung 1907 ko.

Wala ata option para sa software update ang 1907. That option is only available for their higher models. What specific movie are you trying to play? DVD or BD? And what was the other player?
