I saw a lot of copies of national treasure at Odyssey gateway for P299. several viva releases were also tagged down to P299.

From what I know, effectivity of the 450 on all Viva is Feb1, some stores might just be too excited to bring back the old price. But the Magna's will retain their 299 price on some titles, but the 3 for 600 deal is over by Feb 1 as well.

Was at O-Rockwell last night and there are still lots of National Treasure for 299. Likewise X-men was also at 299 still. Got myself a copy of Pirates 1 for 299

gave the other copy to a guy who asked me where I got the Pirates since he cant find one na

Congrats to those who got & are getting the reissues! I know a lot of you have been waiting for ages for The Day After Tomorrow & National Treasure to reappear.

I had to get both from the States as I became frustrated waiting for them to reappear.

I bought my Day After Tomorrow at full price, funny thing is, havent had the time to watch it since I bought it. Dami kasi ibang palabas. So sometimes, it just pays to wait na lang. hehe.

FYI, for those who bought the xmen 2, 2 disc edition viva at 299, you have to open it and check it right away if its a 2 disc edition. I bought mine in Astro virra mall and opened it just few days ago and found out it just have 1 disc. Called Astro and talked to viva and they said there was a mistake in packaging, they are willing to exchange it. New supply is suppose to come in this week. Viva very helpful, nice service..

Price of The Day after tomorrow back to 450 pesos?. When i called up the Astrovision yesterday, sabi nila 299 only, so when i arrived to get it they told me that the price is 450. :'(

Got my copy of National Treasure 1(disc), The Day After Tomorrow (1 disc), Finding Nemo (2-Disc) and The Incredibles (2-disc) at O-Rockwell, 299 each titles, lots of stock there pero parang last copy na ata yung incredibles na nakuha ko, pero am not sure if they still have on their stock room, but the rest... ang dami pa naka-display

Ang gulo talaga. Sa Viva na kiosk sa Festival mall, puro P450 ang price ng mga titles na sa other stores ay P299. Bakit kaya ganun?

ya dont know why the pricing is like that..I was in Astro ermita and got the monster inc. for 450 pesos a couple of days ago. I just went ahead and get it because
1. O rockwell might not have it, even their prices at 299, waste of time and gas to go there
2. My place is very close to robinsons ermita
3. For the 150 pesos difference, Gas, parking to go to other stores come about almost the same hehe

Finally got TERMINATOR 1 SPECIAL EDITION 2 discs!!!! 450 lang! Wahoooooo!!!!

And the included booklet was a nicee surprisee!

Bought it in Landmark.

I believe it's 2-Disc.. I saw someone buy kanina and he was asking for another copy kasi the disc inside was loose daw (he kept shaking it!).. When they opened it, it was just the inner flap that was moving..

forgot the others...unfortunately all of these sell at P450 and not anymore for P299. I still do hope that prices would go down during the upcoming sale events.

wasnt able to resist avp so i got a copy already since its dts anyway and margin is not that high from 299.

although im still waiting for grey's anatomy season 1 to resurface if ever. have been trying to look for this one for ages...i'll gladly buy the R1 version but unfortunately i cant seem to find anyone selling it plus i dont want to order anymore abroad. Nonetheless, i'll be happy to settle for the r3 release if there is any or even buy an unsealed one. I do hope though that the R3 release would also be at P450, i'll just buy an amaray case for it if contained in poor packaging by viva.

can anyone confirm also if lost season one will be reduced? it seems that it has been sold for P3k for a very long period already.

I agree that since they had just released Season 2 of Grey's Anatomy, they should have at least put out a few copies of season 1 for those latecomers...

The new 450 price point really makes impulse purchases much more 'impulse', if there's such a thing.

Even though you might find it at 299 elsewhere, the time, fuel, and effort involved sometimes add up to more than the difference.

But they should also start releasing newer films. While they do have a few new release this month (Grudge 2, Guardian, etc.), a lot of the really great one are still awaiting release including Little Miss Sunshine and The Illusionist.

yes there is an error on the con air R3 release so it may not play properly on most players, even since its first release so better go for the R1 version of this one. I have it on R1.
