I saw this in stores today. Php 3200 for the 4-disc set.

Did anyone buy it? On the outside, it looks like this:

My question is: when unpacked, does it look like this, and if so, is the insert also included:

I'll agree with that. In fact, if you order it from Amazon UK, it'll come to about Php 1800, shipping INCLUDED.

Someone really has to to talk to Magna about their ridiculous pricing.

this release is similar to to R2-UK release. got the R1 package instead. very cheap at $19-$20 plus shipping.

Saw this package at Astro SM Sucat last weekend. Noticed at the back that the 2nd and 3rd titles are in widescreen while the first title is silent about it. Baka fullscreen. And isn't there a DTS Jurassic? I was hoping the package would be in DTS.

The r1 release is 3 -discs fyi. the bonus disc from the previous release is not included.

Does anyone know the difference between this version and the R1 version from Amazon?

The R1 doesn't have the bonus disc but it's $18.99 free shipping (I have a friend who will be visiting next month). The R3 trilogy is 3 times more expensive. I don't want the bonus disc THAT bad. When it comes to picture and audio quality, are they both the same?

The DVD release date for the R1 was November 29, 2005, so it's not like it's an old release.

the recent release of r1 is just a compilation of the previous releases. the r2 release is a 4-discer similar to R3 but almost half the price.

basically the same.

Do they sell them here in Superbit? I would much prefer to have all 3 of these movies in Superbit even if I have to buy them seperately. I could've sworn I saw JP I in Astro a while ago. I called them up and they said there's no such thing

The Jurassic Park Ultimate Collection
As with many Magnavision Boxed set, the discs are fine. The box itself is fine BUT no booklet/leaflet included. Their Gladiator Extended Edition set is the same - no leaflet inside, despite the box having a provision for it. For Jurassic Park, the disc art (except the bonus disc) are not consistent with the box art. Photo from Amazon below.

If I had paid full price., I would be very disappointed. At half price, it's more palatable, but collectors still beware. I will be more careful with Magnavision releases in the future. I feel half-cheated.

Sorry for going off topic. Just venting my frustration at a bargain that turns bust (half bust, the movies are still fine, but the collectible value just goes down the drain).

i also bought this, no booklet inside even though their is a flap for it inside. good thing i just bought it during the sale from 3200 to 1500.

Hmmm. The Lost World and the Jurassic Park III disc art looks similar to the disc art from the original releases way way back then.

Looking for a solution. I bought this set at Podium Sale last month for P1500. Jurassic 1 & 2 are okay. Come Jurassic 3, I could not turn OFF the asian subtitles. You are forced to use one asian subtitle. I could not turn it OFF from the DVD set-up menu. I could not turn it OFF using my DVD remote control. What gives? Anybody encounter this? My solution was to cover the lower portion of my monitor to block out the subtitles. really s_cks!!!

It would have looked better if the R3 just looked like the R1. Nagblend in yung design nung DVD dun sa casing.
